    I believe they will be too and I'm so ready for it lol. I still got that NY sports fan I'm cynicism of anything good happening (since I'm a Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers fan) but this year we got Kristaps, Mets int he WS, and Jets look A LOT better under Bowles. I'm ready for prospering..... feeling like Carlton when he got the chicktionary from Will this year lol.

    Not at all. It'd only be changing the rules for a handful of guys. Maybe the embarrassment of it will force them to work on their FTs. s-----y to watch sometimes but a rule change sends a bad message.
    Yeah with the cap going up I could see multiple teams throwing the max at him. If he stays healthy it will be more than worth it. He lit us up in the playoffs 2 years ago.

    @NBAsxn

    Blatt's dismissal comes one season after he helped guide the Cavs to the 2015 NBA Finals in his first year as an NBA coach. Cleveland leads the Eastern Conference with a 30-11 record and has won 11 of its past 13 games. The two losses came against the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors, who beat the Cavs by 34 points on Monday.

    Just going by how quickly he was fired and Lue's deal was announced, you can assume talks of this had been going on behind the scenes for awhile. Bron being on that 1 year deal holds so much power. All he had to say was "Fire this guy or I'm gone". He's done it before, no reason he wouldn't do it again if he feels he's wasting the last few prime years of his career.

    I don't see them getting worse w/o Blatt, but I'm definitely curious at what kind of changes/adjustments Lue implements.

    So basically, this is now COMPLETELY LeBron's team. He's gotten players he wanted. The city he wanted. The situation he wanted. The conference he wanted to be in obviously. And now the coach he wanted I guess. When he loses again, I hope there isn't any more of that "he didn't have help" talk. Top 5 Pg and Top 5 PF, in the most orchestrated situation ever by a player :useyourhead:

    Yeah this is what the Cavs are stuck with for better or for worse. I don't really blame them, but I have no idea why they wouldn't go after somebody like Thibs. I mean I'm happy as f--- they didn't, but you fired a coach in his 2nd NBA season for another rookie coach? Is Lue gonna help them utilize Love more? Make them better defenders? Thibs could've made this team extremely dangerous.

    Guys, Love is f---in overrated. Sure you can maybe get a little more out of him but he's not gonna be the great number 2 piece that people are still expecting of him.

    I never thought of Blatt as a good coach but his firing is very surprising. The team is leading the conference and just came off a win. You really never know anymore

    Always thought of him as #3 behind Kyrie tbh, but I agree he's definitely overrated.

    @redsoxx nice pace to this game so far.

    Lebron has no excuses this year. Blatt wasn't a good fit to begin with, honestly thought he was going to get fired earlier in the season. He's wanted Ty Lue to be the coach for awhile. Idk if anybody remembers this but Lebron ignored Blatt in the finals last year and called huddles with Ty Lue

    "And we likewise saw LeBron emasculate Blatt in ways that are simply unbecoming of a player of James’ legend-in-the-making stature. […] I saw it from close range in my role as sideline reporter through the Finals for ESPN Radio. LeBron essentially calling timeouts and making substitutions. LeBron openly barking at Blatt after decisions he didn’t like. LeBron huddling frequently with (Cavs assistant coach Ty Lue) and so often looking at anyone other than Blatt."

    Bulls gonna get bounced in the 1st round if they keep this s--- up. At what point do they get tired of giving up 60 points in 2 quarters? Absolutely pathetic.

    So it's finally here, the night I've been looking forward to but also dreading. The last time I'll ever see Kobe play live. :crying2:
