    The word is that Lawler vs Rory 2 is gonna be booked for the July PPV. Also with Weidman vs Vitor supposedly happening Memorial Day weekend i guess that pushes Jones vs Rumble back to August?

    Sucks when a guy gets injured and pushes everything back. Hard for me to get excited for Weidman/Vitor too, feel like i should have already seen this fight a year ago.

    Stipe Miocic vs Mark Hunt will supposedly headline a Fight Night show on May 10 in Australia. Winner probably gets a #1 contender fight seeing how weak the division is.

    Interesting b/c JDS beat Miocic and Werdum just beat Hunt.

    Feels like when Mir got that title shot against JDS. Heavyweight has started to become weak again.

    Its all about who has fought Cain at this point, dont see Werdum beating him and dont see JDS or Bigfoot ever fighting Cain again. Travis Browne could get a title shot with a win over another top guy as well and Overeem with a win over Roy will be in the mix as well as Arlovski and Mitrione .

    Definitely, it's the reason Cerrone doesn't get a title shot. Pettis beat him already. Or why Conor is next for Aldo.

    EDIT: and my boy Roy Nelson is going to shatter that glass chin of Reem.... just wait :emoji_wink:

    I'm sure everyone knows by now, but Silva apparently failed his pre and post fight tests as well.

    The pre-fight test showed drostanolone metabolites once again, evidence of performance-enhancing drugs. Meanwhile, the post-fight test was positive for oxazepam and temazepam. Those medications are used to treat anxiety and insomnia, respectively.

    From all this chaos, what I understood was that he failed one test, then didn't test positive for another one but then failed a third one, in our timeline, the way it came about.

    The anxiety and insomnia aspect is interesting. I remember reading an article about how he completely decided to get off oxies cause he felt he was getting addicted.

    • Vik Grujic vs. Brendan O’Reilly

    They really have a long leash on these Australian guys. Grujic and O'Reilly should already be gone.

    Silva's 2nd failed test maybe means this was his first time using...? wishful thinking. we will most likely never know the truth. unlike sonnen who just admitted to everything he's ever done and owned it.

    what you guys reckon comes of this out-of-comp testing?
    - more injuries
    - guys missing more weight
    - guys shrinking or dropping divisions
    - people just not looking the same anymore in terms of ability?
    - more cancelled events/replacements

    those are all the scenarios I can come up with atm.. Q3/4 2015 is gonna be rough fellas

    Also Joseph Benavidez vs John Moraga on the card.

    Really dont think there was any other move then to have both of those title fights on that card, otherwise one of those fights ends up in August and nobody wants that.

    Edit: Travis Browne vs Andrei Arlovski on UFC 187 as well lol
