In fairness to Burt leaving, if it's on bad terms that's unfortunate, it'll obviously come out. However, dude's in his late 50's if not 60's travels all over the world every single week. That's got to be hard. h--- he's at more events then Dana is and has to fly out days before, not whenever he wants like Dana. It would be a sweet job for a single dude, but if you got a family doing that for so long would really take a toll on the body.

Burt doesn't come off as the type to put people on blast on social media, if there is something behind the scenes the public won't know for a bit. Ariel mentioned an argument or something back stage, but the timing is weird for a retirement, it seems as if it would of been made known if he was retiring, versus just kind of leaving.

We'll see how it all pans out though.

Anyone think its weird how the UFC just kinda took Rampage's word that the Bellator contract was voided. Really looks like there is no way hes fighting Maldonado in Montreal, just think its weird. Wonder if the UFC just wanted to tie him up so that Bellator couldnt have him fight. Dont really get what Rampage was so upset about since it looked like the deal was pretty sweet.

• A $100,000 signing bonus
• A minimum of $200,000 and maximum of $300,000 for non-PPV fights
• A minimum of $200,000 and maximum of $450,000 for PPV fights
• A $50,000 bonus if he didn’t receive a certain amount from sponsorship
• 30 percent of Bellator’s net gate receipts over $400,000 at events in which he fought
• $35,000 per episode for his participation in the Spike TV reality series, “Rampage 4 Real”
• A screenwriter for a feature film project and access to Paramount Pictures to develop film projects
• A red carpet appearance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards
• $200,000 bonus for Bellator 120
• $4 for every Bellator 120 pay-per-view buy over 190,000
• A 2013 Tesla Sport worth $129,603

The suit also said Bellator spent $250,000 to advertise Bellator 120 during the 2014 NBA Playoffs and another $200,000 to secure rights to a Rolling Stones song for an advertisement featuring Jackson.

On the MMA Beat they were talking about how rumours are going on that UFC signed him, so that Bellator would come back at them and it would help with the anti-trust lawsuit by being able to say hey, there is another major promotion and we're not a monopoly, something along those lines.

I find it hard to believe that the UFC didn't thoroughly read the contract and figure it all out. But it's seeming as though it's based off of a he said/she said situation about Bellator not disclosing PPV numbers to Jackson in the 45 day window, which is apparently a breach of contract for them.
