Oct 18, 2015 I've seen bits and pieces from/about those, and honestly as funny as they may be, I'll probably never watch them since the majority of people's bad opinions on the PT seem to stem from what's said in those reviews. I see them referenced constantly when people talk about them negatively.
Oct 18, 2015 I wouldn't call them bad opinions. Just different ones. He also has done reviews of a lot of other films. I gotta ask you, what's your opinion on the special editions? I've never met anyone who liked them tbh. I don't mind them but some of the changes are pretty bad imo.
Oct 18, 2015 whoops i didn't mean to write it that way. I didn't mean bad as in the quality of opinions, I meant bad as in the negative ones on the PT but it was a run on so
Oct 18, 2015 as for special editions I don't honestly think I've seen a single one of them all the way through. there's a couple changes I've seen that I could do without however, but some, namely the effects ones are generally spot on for me and I wish more would've been done in some instances
Oct 18, 2015 I get that. The only two that really bother me are the changes made to the scene between Han and Greedo as well as Darth Vader's no at the end of Episode 6. 1. HAN SHOT FIRST- I was never mad about it but it did annoy me. The scene provided us with an important piece of information about his character- HAN SOLO GIVES NO f---s. And later on when he's revealed to be a man who really cares, it's that much more powerful. 2. the camera work for the scene where Darth Vader turns back to the light was brilliant. Despite wearing a mask, the silence and the camera angles give a sense of emotion to the mask. The no just takes that all away. Other than that, it honestly didn't bother me.
Oct 18, 2015 The dude added feelings to the characters in a way Lucas just blatantly failed to do For real this brought tears to my eyes. These Videos are so nicely done. (Especially the second one)
