Liverpool was better than I expected tbh, first half ball possesion was like 50-50 and they had their chances during the match. But yeah, they need a striker.

A lot of intensity throughout that game, those opening minutes were electrifying...The ref tried to be bi-partisan as possible, could have been some players sent off. Props to both Belgian goal-keepers they really came through on a lot of attacking instances. Congrats to Chelsea, seems likely that they'll win this one.

That's true, but they couldn't win either match lol, how disappointing is that! But yeah, they have started to play better recently, and especially for today's game which I watched in full, I think that they were on point tactically. Sterling is a great player but he has a hard time scoring, he'll have to improve on that. If they let Mario go and they find a solid forward, they can salvage this season. I was very disappointed a few weeks ago, but still; Suarez and Sturridge scored a shitload of goals last year, but there's noone to make up for it this season. If they get lucky and get some talent, they'll do better, I have faith in Rodgers, and Henderson seems able to fill Gerrard's shoes.

They need to somehow make better moves in the tranfer market. So much dead weight these past few years (except from a few players ofc).

Man the ref made so many mistakes, denied the pk on Costa if I'm remembering correctly? And as you said he could have sent a couple of people out early. Gerrard almost got in a fight near the end lol.
