Hence why I think he should stay short term. United need to build some sort of case of being one of the best in the world again. Hypothetically if United get in the summer; Jose, Zlatan, James, Laporte and 2-3 more good players with our s--- players going out United can realistically win the league next year. We need to be established again cos right now were a mid-table s--- laughing stock.

I think expecting to win the league straight after this season would be unrealistic, even with Jose. Top 4 imo would be a decent season for United. Tottenham aren't going away. And once Pep gets his chequebook out, City might well become unstoppable. I'm not sure how the United fans will react to more seasons of boring football.

It will be good to have Jose back in the prem though.

Fam, our current squad isn't bad at all. My dream XI for United next season would be; De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Laporte, Shaw, Schneiderlin/Schweinsteiger Herrera, James, Mata/Rooney, Martial/Memphis, Zlatan/Rooney. Imo that team could challenge for the title.

I don't personally. Rooney is past it. Darmian has been iffy in recent months. Shaw has been injured for a long long time, we'll need to see how he's recovered. Shweini also has a terrible injury record. Mata won't fit in the with new style. Memphis is still raw and needs time to develop. I think the board will give Jose the chequebook and let him sign some established players. There are clear deficiencies in the squad. We'll also need to see how Zlatan adapts to the prem. Not the youngest anymore....

Rooney was on fire this year though. He wasn't even that bad during the goal drought, He wasn't scoring but he was still doing his part for the team. Darmian needs to remain fit. Memphis under Jose could be a sight.

Questionable. He does seem to be declining overall but yeah he can put in a shift. Jose took all attacking instincts out of hazard. He turns wingers into fullbacks. He prefers workrate over raw talent. One of the reasons why mata was sold lol.

Everyone played their hearts out today I really can't ask for anything else, I feel for Danilo since he's getting thrashed by the fans/media but we are a different team when Carvajal plays. Ronaldo has been inspiring man, I remember when I was a kid I used to think how can people possibly think he'll ever surpass Luis Figo? I love football man, whether it's heartbreaks or celebrating championships it's days like today that remind me why this sport & Real Madrid mean everything to me.

That's why trophies after months of being laughed at taste sooooo gooood. I love different emotions fam, that's why I love football and sport in general.
EDIT: And Ronaldo is a phenomenon, one of the best in whole history of football. In case of Danilo I would like to say I was pissed off by his poor performance in first match, but behaviour of people on Bernabeu (in match against Eibar) was atrocious.
