It takes away from what could have been an exciting extra time, perhaps from his angle it might have looked like a foul but that's expected. Same as CR's offside goal, the linesman got distracted from Vasquez vs Alaba competing for the throughball.

Theres times where the video replay comes in handy in high profile games like this, but look at the discussion we have after. It's a part of the game that I've (oddly enough) embraced.

I'm a barca fan (as you already know) and i watch both Barcelona and Madrid play (and Atletico/Sevilla) a few times.

Lets be real here, people are way more brutal towards barcelona when bad calls go our way, but if you actually watch both teams often, then it's not even comparable, Bad referee calls have no less contribution than squad depth to madrid's title run. Referee calls cost us a net loss of about 5-7 points Yet I hardly complain since i just put it down to Madrid having a period of extreme luck (also explains all the comebacks where they really deserve to lose).
And luck seems to be just as important as actually football ability in these campaigns.

But when my team makes a comeback with calls that all look to be correct bar maybe one debatable and close call (without replay to prove otherwise anyways) in a match where the win margin would be huge regardless the c---- go into attack mode, the media lol, continue being the media and 'Uefalona' conspiracies go back into full flight.

So i don't think i have to be very 'bi-partisan' about anything , The game could have gone either way had the refereeing been better, but the refhanded the game to Madrid and actively continued helping them, so i have a right to call bs .

Expected madrid to go through but not like this. Kinda disappointed in the match officials

for all the kids that are 17 and never played football in their life

madrid deserved this , they had 4 times more chances in both legs , bayern had 2 shots on target after 90 minutes today

vidal should've been sent off when the score was 0 0 , he did a foul that deserved 2nd yellow but the referee didnt do that , there was no penalty for bayern and ronaldo goal was offside

also bayern first leg penalty was an error from the referee

real played both matches better and was the better team easily .

Hey I actually don't think we will do it (though i do think it could be close and we can do it)

Just seems to be a season we were destined to lose lol. Aleix Vidal's injury was the nail in the coffin. Him being a god on the right flank and freeing roberto to play in the middle meant our right side was invulnerable and indefensible at the same time. Them both and messi just owned the right flank , but now we have enrique flanking rakitic (miles out of position) and our right flank looks mostly useless and vulnerable .

2nd one is debatable (old rules from the 80s would have let it through funny enough!), likewise Bayern's 2nd goal could have been called for offside just barely

I'm not mentioning Barca you guys are never on my mind regardless and I've never even alluded towards them, this victim complex is the reason why you guys have that reputation. I even defended the calls in that game in particular as 50-50 in some instances. I don't feel the need to bring in a laundry list of s-----y calls from all the top-flight european clubs since it would be way too long and you might as well snatch every trophy in every club's cabinet.

Football is very simple, you have to score and not let the other team score. The team that scores more never deserves to lose.

I personally have a bad taste in my mouth from this game since I would have rather won by less controversial circumstances but hey everyones entitled to what they think, I'm just happy my club made it to 7 straight semis. Like I said good luck tomorrow

Btw @Vybz and anyone else here that's a fan of La Liga, I always forget to bring it up but I highly encourage anyone to pick up Sid Lowe's book Fear and Loathing in La Liga: Barcelona, Real Madrid, and the World's Greatest Sports Rivalry. I read it a few years ago and it's absolutely stellar
