    Bayern - PSG the final this year

    I don't think Lyon can do something to create any trouble to City with only 2 official games in 6 months, I mean they only had one shot on target against Juventus in 90 minutes and that was from a penalty kick and on the other side as strong as Leipzig was against Atletico, we've all seen how s--- Atletico was playing and I'm sure against PSG it will be a whole different story and I got the Ligue 1 champions to go in the finals, like 99.9% of the time.

    City against Bayern, seems like a solid, close game on paper but we've all seen what happened last night, City most likely will not have Aguero and at this point who can stop Bayern?

    In the final, even though Bayern seems like the safe bet, it's a final and PSG will not go down very easy.
    Either way, very excited about the rest of the competition and I do enjoy this one leg matches it gives me some World Cup vibes.

    since the best team in the world beat Bayern in Europe easily last season.
    They have beaten Spurs 2-7,3-1 Chelsea 0-3,4-1 & Barcelona 8-2.

    Shows how goodLiverpool are. I do think City will beat Bayern.

    That was last year my friend, this year you lost 3-2 at home after having 2-0 with 15 minutes left against a team that struggled to get shots on target against Leipzig.

    Alright, there are a few observations that have defined this 1st half. For starters, Lyon have defended exceptionally well, their low block has been stubborn and they’ve overloaded the flanks with perfect timing whenever City tries to get numbers on the left halfspace. Even in possession they’ve been effective at evading City’s pressure and thanks to the likes of Aouar & Caqueret, they’ve been able to dribble past and get the ball to advantageous positions. City’s back 3 have limited Memphis’ influence but I’m curious to see what the game will evolve to once Pep sends the hounds out.

    This game is another instance of Pep overthinking the game, hilariously he’s shown more fear of this team than he did to Real. I get the idea of an extra ball player in the backline to limit counters, but it’s also defanged the offense. The only avenue that’s been apparent has been those incisive passes from the touchline into the channel (Cancelo -> Sterling makes a run behind Denayer) and the odd KDB through ball. But without a central, or aerial presence, we haven’t seen City take many shots or get more numbers closer to the penalty area (perhaps out of fear for a counter). Jesus & another playmaker would pay dividends, at this point there is nothing to lose but to take risks and go for it in the 2nd half.

    This is more awful to watch than Leipzig - Atletico, what the f--- is going on with Guardiola's brain with this defensive 1st eleven, sometimes I just can't understand this game. You play a team that in the last match had only one shot on target from a penalty kick and you go for a defensive squad.

    I’ll never understand this game no matter how hard I study it. Sterling missed a sitter like his Liverpool days, then Ederson turned into Karius in the end.

    Man City...just not good enough for European football like I previously mentioned. Fraud. Thanks to Varane for gifting them these two goals and the mistakes Zidane did in both leagues.

    I hate making these narratives, but it’s definitely a psychological thing at this point. They generated better chances and had the opportunity to pull away with it, but who would have thought 3 key players f--- up in colossal fashion?

    Pep is both a blessing and curse to that club; dominant in the league but blows it in this competition, it’s one of the most enigmatic dynamics I’ve ever seen.

    Putting that to the side, I don’t recall ever seeing a UCL semis without a team from the top 3 leagues. This tournament is the best!
