    Honestly mate, I'm embarrassed to be English sometimes. I don't blame the whole of Europe cheering against us. I would if I wasn't English. Our "fans" are the epitome of embarrassing f----wits.

    Why can't everyone just enjoy the game and be respectful to each other? Saying that, @aleeex1972 is living proof that non-English fans can be d----s as well.

    P$G signing players like it's FIFA Ultimate Team mode.
    Anyway with Ramos there (& some former RM players + the great players there), I'm sure plenty of Real Madrid fans will root for P$G now.

    You Scots are a weird bunch. I've never understood why you all hate the English so much in general. It's quite disturbing.
    England: supports England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland
    Wales: supports Wales, England, Ireland and Scotland
    Ireland: supports Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland
    Scotland: supports Scotland, Wales and Ireland. And vocally despises England.

    Is there something in History I'm missing?

    Seems majority of football fans I see on social media feel that way. This game has been getting much more hype than the euro final. It could partially be because it’s being played first but yea.

    + People anticipating if Messi is gonna win his first official international trophy which could shift things and make him the #1 contender to win the Ballon D'or if it happens. You know how the media would play a role in making it happen as well.
