Hey it was a good topic. It’s good to go back and analyze the great superstars from the attitude era. Would you agree Jericho and Kurt, Michaels were better all around, including on the mic, in the ring, promos.

I turned smackdown on for the main event, and it was a good much but holy s--- it was a champion match? Now that Bryan’s champ does that mean that’s who Brock will face? I’d say they’ll let Brock crush Bryan. Then Bryan and Aj will have a long feud. I was expecting Brock to come out when the referee got knocked down. Not what Bryan did.

Holy s--- Brock vs Bryan this Sunday? That’s awesome but d--- I feel bad that they ended AJs long title reign this way.. or was it still the same title reign? I haven’t been watching but thought it was.

If so that means Nia’s cheap shot punch caused us to miss out on Becky/Ronda, killing Becky’s momentum during the biggest run of her career and her biggest match, and ended AJ’s title reign. Wow f---in Nia Jax, why is she around still anyways? She was a decent storyline for Alexa for a bit there but besides that she’s been boring.

g.d. I didn’t expect that! I actually watched SD live for the first time in months. I still confused why exactly they did it though...unless they want to save AJ/Brock for WM since Roman is gone? Have win the Rumble and challenge him?

Heel Bryan is gonna be awesome either way.

Already calling it, this upcoming ppv, Aj will come out and do something to distract Bryan that will lead to Brock delivering an F-5, match over. There i saved anyone $10 that thought about signing up for the wwe network again just to watch that one match. Don’t do it. The less that does the more WWE will realize their story lines and certain people they shoved down our throats for years backfired and they’ll make positive changes. That’s another reason I quit watching, it got way too predictable and I would predict matches I figured would end in a dq or someone coming out to save the match or cause a dq. I will say the ending of smackdown tonignt surprised me. Honestly can’t remember the last smackdown match that I watched, since tonight.

The logical answer here is that the match isn't going to be much of a match, so they protect AJ by putting Bryan in there instead.

As for the Charlotte match, man I feel bad for Becky. She turned chicken s--- into chicken salad with their booking of her and Monday was the peak. Couldn't have had a better go home for that match.

Charlotte/Ronda was the Mania match, I'd say that goes to Becky now but nobody knows if she can sustain her momentum that far ahead.

s--- I wish both Brock/Bryan and Charlotte/Ronda would've got better longer build ups and been saved for Mania, I bet those 2 matches would be better headliners than whatever we end up getting. Plus Becky was rolling from what I've heard, I haven't watched really but I did see her promo tonight and even that was great. It was the worst possible time for Becky to get injured, so unfortunate.

Brock/Bryan will be a good match though, curious to see how it goes. I'll probably end up re-ordering the network, hopefully Trent doesn't get too mad at me if I do.

Lol so worked up about this...

Brock will win there is no way it’s a squash. They aren’t going to bury Bryan in his first match after turning heel. Clearly they turned him to make him the top heel on SD and they don’t beat their top heels in squash matches...especially the week they just turned.

All this s--- happening and I just wish CM Punk would return heel so him and Bryan could literally be The Best In The World Stable I always knew they had it in them to be. Make them create a huge faction. Indoctrinate Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable (If Chad stops being so bland.). Throw in Cesaro, The Brian Kendrick, and A Newly-Returning Charlie Haas, and Drew McIntyre in there to boot and make them have the biggest feud against The Club (AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Luke Gallows, Gary Anderson, Kenny Omega, and one technical bad-a--- big-guy.). I wish. *Sighs*

Just finished skimming through. How long is Andrade going to be in this "job to every good worker on the roster" position? At this point they should do the gimmick they did in NXT where he loses all the time because he's partying until Zelina gets him back on track. Miz/Mysterio was aight, went at a decent pace and Miz at least kept up. Loved the Becky promo, weird seeing her and Charlotte in the ring with all the rando's on the roster, they come off so much bigger.

Main event was pretty crazy for the time they were given, both guys worked harder than I've seen in a WWE TV match in a long time. Some of those kicks and strikes were as stiff as you can get. Also amazing to see (or hear, actually) two great workers communicate after a blown spot to get things back on track.

Liked the turn a lot, they popped after the low blow but the crowd turned with the stomps. Came off real well, Bryan was fantastic.

Fun fact: this is the second time I could’ve went to Smackdown this year (first being in New Orleans and then last night in STL) and decided against it. Both shows ended up being headlined by AJ vs Bryan
