I feel like youre viewing things pretty strictly through your own pov -- you feel like people are picking on you here (?) or being too vicious... but in reality youve brought alot of it on yourself

maybe 90% of the posters here are goofs, but this cant be great for reputation management?

im glad all my friends love this album lol

    most more than me...

    its so goood

also, everyone is kind of agreeing that there arent any "memorable" moments in the same vein as GKMC on here, but i actually think there are a lot dope moments to takeaway from TPAB:

    -"every n----- is a star"
    -this d-ck aint freeEeEeEEEEeeEEe
    -lovin you is complicateeEEEeeEEeD
-you aint gotta lie to kick it my n-----
-b---- where was u when i was walkin!?!?
    -BOO BOO
    -WE GON B ALRIGHT

    :allears::allears::allears::allears::allears:
for sale interlude is underrated as well tbh. the verse is maybe a bit too much, but the hook and production is fantastic. literally everyone in my house has it stuck in their heads lol
fire tbh, rapping is very reminiscent of "heaven & h---" kendrick, and the free form vibe just fits so well with the instrumentation

the nitpicking is very laughable but i understand cuz when the album is this good it has people reaching for problems that aren't really problems

Kinda agree. Mortal man would be out-of-place just about anywhere else on the album though. But "i" would have been the perfect close to an album where Kendrick details all his negative sorta s---.

I'm just not even that big of a mortal man fan in general

And the idea of the album ending on kendrick back performing in the streets of Compton, overlooking a restless crowd, and then giving the "negus" speech...too perfect

Nitpicking is what people do with perfect albums. When an album is so perfect the smallest flaw seems more of a problem. Like Kanye ending his verse off flow in "Gorgeous". There's nothing wrong with being able to pick out flaws. Shows you're listening with an open mind, not just stan'ing.

Fair enough, Mortal man was cool on the first listen. But there's really not much reason to sit through those 12 minutes again.

I'm even thinking that "i" (the live, album version) would have been a good replacement for 'Compton' on GKMC.
