Sam Adams IPAs can be hit or miss imo, but this one was right on the mark. Great balance of tropical and hoppy flavors. Almost like if a radler and ipa had a kid. Very sessionable at 4.7% abv. Can’t recommend this enough!

Mate, I've genuinely been thinking about this question a lot since you asked and I really don't know how to answer. London is built for tourists. And bankers/traders. That's about it.

It's prob easier to start off with what NOT to do.
    Don't go up the Shard
Don't go on the London Eye
Don't go to see Buckingham Palace
Don't go to see the Tower of London (at least not inside. Outside is impressive as f---. And free to look at!).

I would suggest looking a bit into the Victorian history of London and going on a walking tour or 2. Jack the Ripper is a good place to start and a lot of the walking tours are free. I could also recommend a GREAT tour guide that does a pub crawl and will show you some touristy things whilst walking in-between (and going into!) 4 or 5 great pubs.

Walk along the Thames path and just take in the sights.

Don't confuse London Bridge and Tower Bridge.

Get a curry in Brick Lane.

Do a pub crawl of the "Bermondsey Beer Mile". Only available on Saturdays. Google it.

Take a walk through the financial districts and walk down every little alleyway you can find (do this during day light hours. Financial districts are the safest but it's still London and you're still in a foreign part of the world).

Look up. Wherever you go. British architecture is astounding and soooooo detailed.

Buy a walking tour book, download an app etc. History is history wether it's pitched to tourists or not. I learn something new about this country all the time and I've lived here my whole life.

If you're here for more than 2 or 3 days then get a train to the coast. It's not cheap and it may take a couple of hours but we're an entire island that's surrounded by coast. No, it's not Miami! But we've still got some great coastlines. Spend a night in Devon or Cornwall and you'll see.

Drink "English beer". Cask ale. Americans say it's served at room temperature. THIS IS NOT TRUE AND WRITE FRANKLY PISSES ME OFF. Cask ale is also not "flat". Is has its own natural gasses and is served at cellar temperature which is between 10-12 degrees Celsius. Room temperature is 21 degree Celsius. So it should be cool, not cold. Typical lager/craft beer is about 4 degrees Celsius and so is American served beer so you'll notice it being normal than you're used to. But FFS it's not ROOM TEMPERATURE!!!!

Lastly, come and see me for the night and I'll just simply take you to some of the best pubs London has to offer. Actually, that's a lie. London has soooo many great pubs that I'll only be able to take you to a handful of great ones within a short enough distance of each other.

Don't bring cash. Make sure you have a bank account that doesn't charge you for international payments. Large parts of London don't take cash any more. Some even take bitcoin!

Also, on topic. @Sign Language I think you'll like this.

I've just tested this beer 5* on Untapped. Not only the best Stout I've ever drank but genuinely one of the best beers period. Absolutely beautiful and u don't tend to go for dark beers normally.

Mf I meant the amount of detail he put into his answer. This is why Tarzan didn’t invite Dutch people to his event
