you repeating something doesn't make it correct. For one, we have no idea if Kanye has or hasn't physically hurt anyone. But secondly, and more to the point, whether or not you've physically hurt someone is NOT the only measure of mental illness lol, wtf are you talking about?

This is all anecdotal and I am obviously not a mental health expert just an expert with my Mother's situation and what I learned last year from providers. Kanye's grandiose for sure(a big part of mania) but delusional? Nah. My mother had always been grandiose but last year was seeing messages from airplane chem trails and thought streetlights were space stations. She also was in contact with Obama all of last year and part of the Mueller investigation lol. I haven't quite heard anything like that from Kanye yet.


But as far as Kanye wanting help it will not happen. If he's truly that crazy then 1.) He isn't going to admit/know it and 2.) Most crazy people are addicted to their mental illness. They enjoy being manic and the thrill that comes with it. Kanye's obviously not a regular person so maybe somebody will intervene sooner but yeah people have to come VERY close to self harm or hurting somebody else before anybody do anything. Again- f--- our mental health system.

i dont want to armchair diagnose or discount ur experience, but isnt it possible theres something Def wrong with Kanye that just doesnt demonstrate/align your mom's symptoms? not sure ive im saying that right.

i do think what makes kanye's mania soooo apparent and destructive is there is this element of his persona and celebrity narcissism becoming a toxic force, combined w whatever else is going on. would totally buy a mental health professional coming forward w a theory for guys like kanye and trump, and how like u said their own celebrity becomes an addiction + compounds more pedestrian mental health problems

Name one genius that ain't crazy*

*Kanye is legitimately crazy, and he likes to experiment going off of his meds for a period of time. Usually around an album release. As a Kanye fan, part of me enjoys the spectacle of a public breakdown. It's performance art. The other part of me, the human side, is very worried. Last night was the first time he's mentioned Kim negatively in his rants.

This is similar to post 2009 VMAs. Each subsequent time Kanye would attend an award show, everyone would said "what's crazy Kanye gonna do?!" ...Except now it's any time of day, every day.

Either way, it seems the public majority is finally moving from "wow, f--- Kanye" to "wow, Kanye needs help".

For those who say he can't be faking it: you argue that you know bipolar or mentally ill people and his current behaviour is in line with theirs...but... didn't it ever occur to you that maybe so does he? That he knows somebody ill, too, and he is just mimicking them? Or he just read on the subject, did some research?
Would it be so hard for him? If you got clued up on it so easily?
Anyway... It works. We are 11 pages on... Nice.
