@Poohdini literally your ONLY defense of this album is "you just must not like drake like that!"

and because I think 3 tracks that feign progression out of 20 isnt enough of anything to deem impressive you get butthurt and make sweeping statements about me wanting Drake to write like Nas or make his "yeezus"

No, I already told you like f---ing FIFTY times what would've made this album better. I even gave you multiple versions of an ideal tracklsit you chose to ignore because you think every song is good and belongs.

You must not like Drake has been my only defense? I think you got me confused with someone else.

You say progression as if only new sounds qualify...it can also mean progressing on old formulas, like he did on U With Me, Feel No Ways, and Still Here for example.

and he doesn't "progress" with any of his old formula. he just refines them a tiny bit. and if thats enough for you, so be it. i never once stopped you guys from enjoying this project as much as you want.

theres just no need to act like im coming way out of left field with my issues w this boring a--- album.

Ffs ok so dock him progression. That takes away THAT much of the albums enjoyment for you? That's my point. There's flaws but farrrrr more good than bad here.

lack of progression, for me, includes actual regression when it comes to his writing (either that or I'm just tired of him being in the same emotionally stagnant state he was 4 albums ago), as well as, you know, the overall sound

Add a bloated Tracklist on top of all that and you can probably figuring out why I won't be playing this front to back too often

I will be revisiting my top 5 to be fair, but nothing much beyond that

I assert Thugga has used diverse production since Barter 6 that is unique and classifiable as drastically different.

I LOVE Thugger but I'm Up was the only project by him that sounded different since Barter 6. Narsh saying Drake's style hasn't changed may be true but so hypocritical.
