    When I'm gone is one of Eminem's top songs, its lyrics and sound can really change my mood and get inside my heart. Darkness didn't appeal to me that much

    The Vegas shooting tie in and comparing it to his own life is genius. The little details throughout Darkness also show some evolution in Ems lyrics.

    I imagine he wanted to give Hailie a basic rap as she's about 10 when the song was released.

    His very personal songs (this, Beautiful, Kim) tend to be much more simplistic and focus on the material covered over the bars
