    Imagine them signing with Cash Money or another bs label, which would make them writing stupid songs about drugs, drinks, clubs and sex. If not - they would stuck there with no album out. Strange is perfect place for them.

    PS: Future Vintage is amazing!

    Sure, Cash Money wouldn't have been of much help. But when you see the albums Kendrick or J Cole can come up with on a major I think the times of when labels' hands were all over an artist's album are slowly coming to an end.

    Anyway that's not the point: the only really successful artist on Strange is Tech, and the label has proved to be pretty bad at putting the others in the frontline to attract new audiences. It's like, you gotta be a Tech fan to get to know about the others on the label...

    You're right that we probably wouldn't get so many albums tho

    My review:
    One of my favourite albums of the year, couple more listens but Deffo see this becoming my favourite album of the year. My favourite album from the strange label Deffo! A must listen.

    So after listening to it a couple times, although this might change in the future, I think Mayday's albums go tmtyl > future vintage > believers

    Future Vintage is great, Mayday is my favorite on Strange after Tech. They are consistently great. And I am very glad they are on Strange, cuz this is their 4th CD they put out in the past few years plus an EP and also Wrekonize got to put out his CD because Roc-A-Fella screwed him over. He won a contest with the prize being a recording contract with Roc-A-Fella in 2003. He finally got to put out The War Within 10 years later, within weeks of Believers, both of which were amazing. I don't think that happens on a different label.

    I made an edit of ''Come Gangsta'' a couple of months back for someone here, inwhich i added an extra hook for the end of the track.

    Unfortunately i no longer have it but if one of you guys has it (i think it was @Priestkc31 that i created for) i would really REALLY appreciate it.

    Future Vintage is excellent. Another consistent album from Mayday. I know I am in the minority when I say Believers is my favorite album. I can't really defend it other than I like the production the most, was my first true foray into Mayday, and probably nostalgia reasons lol. Badlands and Strange March remix are still my favorite Mayday songs with Fuel the Fire possibly becoming a new favorite.
    Everyone is different and I really enjoy Mayday's uptempo stuff. The Tech song is wonderful but would have preferred something more energized and less laid back/chill but thats just my opinion. I do love Mayday though, probably my favorite group at the moment.
