Mar 17, 2015 I'm wondering what the venn diagram looks like for people who watched breaking bad and people who watch this...there can't be that many people who only watched this. ...can there?
Mar 17, 2015 my parents haha I tried to convince them to watch Breaking Bad and they watched a couple episodes and never got into it, but they've watched every episode of Better Call Saul. I think Saul's personality is easier to get into compared to Walt's if you've only seen a few episodes of BB.
Mar 17, 2015 Yeah, it's definitely less heavy than BB. A lot of people (esp older folks) can't get into "heavy" TV because that's not what they were used to growing up. I know my mom couldn't finish s--- like The Wire and Dexter (not that the latter is really worth finishing) because she prefers more light-hearted stuff...though she did watch all of The Sopranos.
Mar 17, 2015 Another brilliant episode. This show us probably top 3 of all-time with The Wire and BB. That might be a bit premature but if Gilligan and Co see this out it's pretty much a certainty. On another note I watched Crawl Space last night before bed and that final scene could be the very best scene in BB.
Mar 17, 2015 um, why would hhm care so much about the kettlemans, who are d----s and desperate enough for cash they steal a measly $1.6 mil or why would they punish one of their soon-to-be partners, banishing her to "the field" -- show universe hasnt established what makes the kettlemans so lucrative to a prestigious firm, enough to warrant the bizarre blame game after they irrationally fire them. very contrived plotline.
Mar 17, 2015 makes even less sense lol, it's just not good imo. it works in order to connect the dots, because it knows it has to tell a certain story to eventually make jimmy into saul.
Mar 18, 2015 It's been slow going but I've enjoyed it to be honest, expecting a big cliff-hanger at episode 10. Then have to wait about 6 months for season 2 lol.
