Apr 7, 2015 breaking bad's first is so much more exciting. not that this needed or wanted to be. thats why i need a few more season of BCS to put things in context, before comparing it to BB
Apr 7, 2015 from IGN's review. I love what they're doing to the character. I can only hope that once the show reaches BrBa timeline that they do a time jump. They're building such a strong character and there's no way in h--- they can leave it where BrBa ended/BCS began. I'd love to see post-BrBa Jimmy start feeling nostalgic after watching his commercial (how BCS started) and want the action back in his life, telling his story to the world and getting caught up in the repercussions, etc.
Apr 7, 2015 saul was such a good f---in guy to his b---- brother also, Kim is >>> all female BB characters combined. at least saul's still got her. for now. our n----- Jimmy was facing east, death, the grave, but now he's changed courses. and now it's time to wreck s---.
Apr 7, 2015 gonna be hard for them not to tie him in if they pick up for any significant storyline in the post-BB world i dont think they need to, but this show isnt shying away from fan service. and theyre doing it well so far so i dont mind either way at the moment
Apr 7, 2015 from reddit: I hope that's where they're going tbh. Jimmy hasn't gone through enough s--- yet to be Saul Goodman. I still want to see more of his progression. Building up his own law firm, becoming comfortable in a professional-ish environment, being financially stable, etc. before losing it and having to turn to crime.
Apr 7, 2015 I think after the first episode people were worried BCS was going to rely too much on BB...but there's no doubt this show has it's own identity and the amazing acting has a TON to do with it. Btw- Is the bingo scene the first time we'd learned Saul has an ex wife ??
Apr 7, 2015 The death of Marco was like the death of Slipping Jimmy. At this point i have no remorse for Chuck... we saw his true side...he didnt want to be caught dead with his brother, as it would ruin his ''reputation'' while he forgets the fact his brother was the only person who took care of him throughtout the span of a year as he fought/fights a fake illness. Im glad they didnt rush the story.. if they did, it would just be to get a few cheap wows from people.. what they are doing is perfect, the transformation is amazing to see, & the pace is excellent. I know someone who stopped watching Better Call Saul because there werent action scenes... what an idiot.
Apr 7, 2015 I loved when Saul mentioned Belize, a great little reference that would pass over alot of people's heads. When the chick said he wasnt kevin costner had me laughing my a--- off.
