Mar 25, 2016 also, there's NO WAY this ends in a cliffhanger. this is probably one of the highlight moments of the comic series, it would be a travesty to make it into a gimmicky cliffhanger. plus, we would know who would die unless they have them stay on set for a few months which is pointless and a waste of money
Mar 25, 2016 I thought this too but... it almost seems too obvious... Idk, we'll have to wait and see I'm excited
Mar 27, 2016 so does this episode confirm daryl wont get lucilled? twd is really woat with their cliffhangers
Mar 27, 2016 I feel as if the showrunners are injuring the characters they aren't killing to increase the impact of how damaged the group will be, even moreso than just somebody being dead.
Mar 27, 2016 Daryl confirmed not dying... they at least could have made us believe dwight killed him smh "He will be alright" ughhhh
Mar 28, 2016 Was a nice shocker though, had to play it back twice before it fully registered what happened. And unless they throw a curve in the beginning of next weeks episode, the honor will go to either Michonne, Daryl or Glenn with Carol being the wild card. Feels like cheap symbolism (that might not even make sense) but given what's coming it is pretty appropriate given what's coming next.
Mar 28, 2016 Spoiler ye but first with glenn, now with daryl even though hes clearly not dead. Glenn and daryl were the top two lucille candidates. Now itd be kinda cheap to k--- one of them off. Whoever they k---, better be worth it. Ive read that (possible comic book spoiler) Spoiler Negan doesnt k--- women so idk who its gonna be.
Mar 28, 2016 also kind of tired of people saying glenn /has/ to die cause the comics... the show doesnt follow the comics exactly and is its own thing. he's been on 6 seasons and we barely know anything about him. plus theres so much potential in his character after killing his first human, and just imagine how he'd change if he saw the negan death. "Glenn just has to die, sorry. The story won't advance if he doesn't." Well, if we’re discussing storyline advancements, what’s more engrossing? The group depressed again for an episode over Glenn’s death and Maggie doing exactly what she’s been doing this season (building up a leadership role) all leading to an epic fight with Negan, or… Glenn Rhee dealing with the aftermath and trauma of meeting Negan and then being forced to work for him. Glenn having to do things in order to keep Team Family safe, while dealing with a growing rage inside him and all the while fearful of losing his humanity because he hates Negan that much. Further bonding with Michonne, who would surely understand being scared of losing that humanity. If Rosita is indeed in Negan’s harem like speculation suggests, Glenn having to see her, being unable to help her and having to deal with that. Helping Rick organize a war to destroy Negan, knowing it’ll probably cause his death in the process? All of which leads to an epic battle with Negan? h---…I know which one I’d like to see, to be honest. There’s so much potential in letting Glenn live, although I can’t trust the show to actually get it done. We could FINALLY get a Glenn arc. Steven Yeun would k--- it. We were promised dark!Glenn. Give it. i liked this response, let him live
Mar 28, 2016 Just watching now.. After that shower scene with Glenn and Maggie I'm wishing this was an HBO show When the camera is panning down Maggie... Edit: not a fan of these fake death cliffhangers.. Daryl better be bleeding out and about to die in the next episode
Mar 28, 2016 now that they did that gimmicky "woah is daryl dead" moment, the pool is either: morgan, glenn, aaron, abraham, maggie, carol
Mar 28, 2016 I really hope Daryl does die this season. I've been wanting him dead since Season 4. They made him invincible because of how popular he got with them middle aged american ladies who only watch this show because of him and keep hugging his sweaty 2 years of zombie apocalypse hairy nuts. Dude is OP as f--- now and is just a boring a--- character, his last arc ended when Beth died.... he literally contributed nothing to the story up until the point where he first met Dwight in that burned forrest, who ironically now might have gotten him killed (Even more Ironic since Dwight is the comic version of Daryl. Kirkman was so in love with Daryl that he somehow wanted to get him into the comic, so he created Dwight who's a lot like Daryl). Daryl is so OP even Rick gets away with less and Rick is the Protagonist of this series, s--- is ridiculous. I made this just to piss some of those ovary exploding Daryl fan girls off, hope you like it.
