Apr 5, 2016 Lol yea thats how i see it too! I was thinkin that last night while rewatching, like "this is going to look badass back to back seeing it 3rd person right after" Under a dumpster Under A Dumpster N fans actin like this writing worse
Apr 5, 2016 It's only "not as big an issue" as I and other are making it out to be if you've already written off the shows sense of character development -- which it seems like you have Like the only way the execution of a main characters death doesn't matter is if you've already decided the shows writing sucks and you're only here to see the plot progress. In which case, good for you lol
Apr 5, 2016 the sad thing is that it HAS to be darryl or glenn and neither of them really got a story arc
Apr 5, 2016 I see that. N maybe tbh? Cant answer that acturatly because i honestly dont see the writing as bad as it was. I think its gotten hella better. Thats why i just cant wait foe 7, im excited. Genuinely for 7, its not that idc bout 6 n the characters. I just want more. We seen 6, now gimme 7, u kno? Thats all dude I live for a good story n i just want more of this story were getting now.
Apr 5, 2016 Easily. N i think if its carl it still can be if the effects n everything is done right in the sequence. Theres me again excited. Like f--- were going to see it man. f--- arent you ready? Lmao They need to do this right. Go all out Eyeballs flying n s---
Apr 5, 2016 It just, once again, shouldn't have been a cliffhanger. I can buy the body on top of him getting eaten and him crawling under the dumpster bs. The pump fake was cheap Yeah I guess. I guess my main complaint is that only a few characters felt like they earned a death as far as the plot goes -- Abraham or Eugene being the 2 main ones. They rest of them didn't really have an arc that could satisfyingly end with a death right now. Either that, or they k--- one of the entirely expendable characters like Aaron and the cliffhanger/wait is all for nothing
Apr 5, 2016 Being covered in guts makes you blend, that's been established. The dumpster thing isn't that big of a reach. It was just the wait to find out that made it seem like such. Once again, perplexingly frustrating execution The writing this time around is bad because they basically wrote themselves into a lose-lose scenario and consequently brought down an otherwise great scene
Apr 5, 2016 I hope to god that the next season immediately picks up where this episode left off. I don't want the premiere to be about the morgan/carol thing & then we have to wait for episode 2.
Apr 5, 2016 But how is it a good story if a character like Glenn or Daryl dies unceremoniously? Basically all you're watching for are major plot points at this point, nothing else Which I'm not mad at -- that's the only thing that got me through earlier seasons when I was gonna give up. I still enjoyed the universe so I kept watching for major plot points But now, as you said, the shows gotten better and I wanted more out of it
Apr 5, 2016 Agreed. The cliffhangers wouldn't be such a problem if they knew how to follow them up correctly. This season especially, they are terrible at it.. It's like they love to set up a cliffhanger, and then they forget to address it. Or they do it in such a way where they got you excited all for nothing. Glenn fake death -- THREE episodes later, quick scene of walkers clearing and him being fine Rick's group is walking through the hoard of walkers carefully while covered in walker guts, then Jessie's kid says "Mom?!" -- suddenly everyone is fine and into a safe clearing Daryl shot by Dwight -- a full hour into the next episode, he's a little bloody under a blankie I'm sure there's more I missed. :/ Edit: Oh and this one, wikipedia reminded me: Rick kills the group at the RV, but the shot-up RV won't start as the walker herd begins surrounding it. His hand is also wounded (possibly bitten, infected?) Next episode: Rick is running away from the walkers... his hand is never addressed nor how he escaped the hoard. An example of a good and effective cliffhanger is when the episode ends as the church tower collapses on the alexandria wall. Simple, gives you the "wtf is gonna happen next" feeling.
Apr 5, 2016 I can see it being Abraham only for the fact that Rosita is there and Maggie's to weak to beat Rick's a--- after the death like she does in the comics. But yeah I get what you're saying, I'm just choosing to ignore all of it in hopes that they do show the scene so I can ignore the cliffhanger and pretend it never happened
Apr 5, 2016 Spoiler: Finally learned how to use this f---ing thing After the Saviors leave, Maggie flips out and begins to repeatedly punch Rick over and over and over calling him a b---- a--- p---- (more or less). The only reason she stop is because The budding Serial Killer pulls a gun out and threatens to s---t her if she doesn't stop
