I'm *cough" thirty-something *cough* and been a fan since My Name Is was in radio rotation. Although I remember enjoying the Off the Wall project a lot more at the time. SSLP became a bit too childish but then MMLP came along and I didn't stop listening to that since day one until TES came out. MMLP was by far my favourite album of his but in recent years I've found that TES has aged better. Nostalgia still wins though.

I have sentiment for Encore tracks and Revival kind of reminds me of the era, I guess. Besides, bad hooks and so so beats, some lesser tracks (remind me. Heat, need you) but also great flow, voice better than one on MMLP2 or Recovery and some masterpieces (wow, Believe, ramed, in your head,Castle, Arose). It's not coherent and has flaws, but I like it very much. I expected Recovery to sound like that in 2010 (fresh sound, diverse flow). I guess, now in 2017 it was too late for that.

Whoever said this is a r-----:

    Relapse 2/Recovery Sessions

    Tragic Endings
    Castle
Arose (minus the part that was punched in after he name drops Relapse)
    Need Me

    MMLP2 Sessions
    Bad Husband
    Remind Me

    ?????
What the h--- are you on about. Tragic Endings and Need Me in the RELAPSE 2 sessions. LOL.
The album was entirely recorded in 2016-2017. You're clueless if you think those songs are from then. Em specifically said he started working on the album in 2016 and he decided to use various styles to have something for everyone (trap beat songs, pop, rock, classic Em like Castle/Framed, etc)

His voice, his lyrics, his references, the mixing/production, is ALL 2016-2017 era. The only songs that go over early stuff is Castle/Arose which are retrospective and not actually from 2007 of course...

Look in the booklets and you can see where records were recorded. You won't seeing any Revival tracks recorded in his Hawaii Relapse 2 sessions lol. If anyone stumbles upon this thread everything said here is basically wrong.

So Bad, Ridaz, and On Fire are Relapse 2 sessions from the summer of 2009 because Mr Porter/Paul confirmed 1 or 2, and of course in the booklet you can see So Bad was recorded in Hawaii.

You have no idea what you are talking about dude. Clearly Castle/Arose were recorded in 2007 along with Twerk That Poop That. Tragic Endings was definitely a Recovery leftover, you can tell by the layered vocals.

Also Above Ground (Underground 2) was supposed to be on Relapse 2 but since it got scrapped it never saw the light of day.

After 17 years lil nas x took Eminem’s spot as the biggest single...

Anyone think Eminem might try to take his spot back? Many people will automatically say Eminem can’t make a song that huge again in this era. BUT Eminem can work with any artist on the planet. He is Eminem. He can have any producer. He can have whatever he wants on a track

One: I don't think he'd care. And two: When he or any artist drops a single would the intention not be for it to be as big as possible anyway...?

It took 17 years to top... I don’t think it’s as easy as sitting down and trying really hard, no matter who the guests or producers are on the track.
