Don't think I've mentioned it on here but I have my first USAPL meet next month at Texas A&M. Hoping to break the Texas squat record for my age and weight class (82 kgs, 227 kg squat) I'm hoping to hit at least 238 kgs on squat. I want to hit a 600 pound raw squat before I turn 20

I definitely have. The thing is Youtube is so so so over saturated with Fitness channels. I'd either need to start it with S80 for exposure(and I have no big how S80 actually is) or I'd need to make a channel that's initially based on controversy(calling out people hoping they'll respond ala How To Rob/Click bait videos) to get myself attention. Or possibly both and there's always risk of potentially pissing people off and being black balled lol from certain things that I'm still chasing. It's a tricky situation.

If the experts @Koolo and @Dev One could take time to read the last page and a half and offer their two cents I'd be really happy btw!

Alot of the yourtube fitness channels are s--- imo. From what ive seen you post on SL/S80 over the years your alot more knowledgeable that most of them ive seen. But I get what your saying about it being a tricky situation.

https://www.youtube.com/user/ScottHermanFitness for example he has nearly 900k subs & he is an idiot & not very knowledgeable either.

Yeah that's exactly what I don't want to be and it just wouldn't work for me anyways.(I mean I want his subs but nothing else lol) I know there's an angle yet I just don't know what. I wouldn't be cookie cutter clean like that I'd be myself. I feel like some of the bigger youtubers are just too pretty. Everything about their lives is happy and cheerful and.... I just think there's an untapped demographic out there who can't relate to any of those guys. I mean if somebody put a gun to my head and said "TODAY" i'd start a channel and begin with Q and A's from S80 and hope that it'd catch on.

Elliot Hulse is the only one I consider good & interesting from what ive seen. A channel in collaboration with S80 would be a good idea if u decided to do it.

No man they've got to legit. You can audit Twitter followers and if IG followers are bought they'll see right through it. You'll see tons of "models" who have like 40k followers are their pics are getting maybe 100 or so likes lol. They've got to be legit. But I'll respond to your questions in your PM when I get home bro.

Here's my deal: I'm like 5 10, 185lbs. I eat at most twice a day and drink a lot of water. I've been going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I do 15-30 minutes of cardio(treadmill or elliptical). Then I do some lifting(flies, biceps curls, triceps, chest press). I do the most weight I can do that I can get 15 reps of and do that 3 times. I'm usually feeling pretty good after and I'm noticing a bit of a difference slowly. I want to get ripped more than B*** and I feel the way I'm going I'm bulking more than cutting.

The results I'd like: not worried about my weight so much, trying to keep it at 185-190 but I'd like to build my chest. I don't know if cutting would also do that or if I need to B*** first. Also trying to build my endurance up when running(I feel like I'm on track for that)

Any suggestions on best way to achieve these results, anything specific that I should be eating(should I have a meal plan), other workouts I should be doing, etc?

Hey @Dev One didn't you have shoulder impingement/rotator cuff tendonitis or something along those lines at one point?

I want to do something like that. Like I'd do some kind of contest where I'd do somebody's (who will take it seriously) nutrition/workout programming for one month completely free so long as they give an honest review at the end of it. And then posters could obviously decide if it's something that they'd want to invest in. I really want to build up my online clientele/following.

Sure did, a few weeks of physiotherapy and strengthening my rotator cuffs fixed it. No complaints since.

What did it feel like for you? I've had mine since late January but it's weird. I pass all the diagnostic tests so I know it's not torn and they've chalked it up as some kind of impingement/tendonitis. Surprisingly I can bench with minimal discomfort but any kind of overhead press is absolutely unbearable. Before this I was shoulder pressing 75lbs for sets of 15. Today I did the 50's and although I completed my sets they felt horrible. Just a really bad pinching. I've laid off of anything that hurts(shoulder press) but with rest it just feels like it's getting weaker and more painful so I figured I'd go light and try to get some blood flow in there. I ice a lot, too. Sleeping is also miserable, too.

What did you do for your RC strength? Internal/external stuff? Any stretches? Did you stop lifting while you rehabbed? Any advice would be tremendously appreciated.

How do you sleep? If you're a restless sleeper you could be laying on your shoulder without even knowing it. This causes the most issues and prevents it from repairing.

Also you need to get a physiotherapist to smash your lats and also inside your armpits (very painful).

There was this one stretch I was told to do which was awesome. I'll try and find it but it consisted of a band from the top of a cables machine and kneeling down with one arm out with the band around my hand. It really stretched my lats which helped my shoulders.

Also kept lifting but skipped overhead presses. Still did shoulders but never lifted a weight above my shoulders.

    @Dev One

Didn't see this for a few days. Thank you big time bro. I've been really focusing on massaging/stretching my chest/shoulders but have completely ignored my lats. I got deep tissue you done two days ago an there were all kinds of knows in the upper lats where it connects to the rotator cuffs. Also, I've been going to sleep on the bad shoulder for the last two months now. It aches before bed so laying on it is actually comforting even though when I wake up in the middle of the night/morning I can barely move it because it hurts so bad. It's been tough but I've laid on the other side the past few nights. I was kind of bummed that after two nights sleep not on the shoulder and a massage lots of trigger point therapy that it's not much better but I guess I was expecting results too quickly lol.

Did yours take a while to heal? How bad was your pain. There's times I move it and I'm like holy s--- this has got to be torn but the strength is still there. Also, are you back to overhead pressing? Thanks again man and if you think of anything else please let me know! Appreciate it big time bro.
