Dec 1, 2014I don't know.
I like to think that DMT (the s--- in your brain that makes you dream) has something to do with afterlife/death. Your brain only pumps it out in very specific circumstances.
1. When you're body is in it's full sleep cycle
2. When your body knows it's about to die.
I don't know about anyone else, but to me, that's pretty trippy s---. Why would your brain be pumping out the drug that makes you dream, moments before you die?

I wish there was a heaven but realistically I don't think there is, don't even think there's much of a chance. I just think when you die, that's it....You're dead, you don't feel or do anything, you're just gone. I realize this is probably the most boring scenario but it's also by far the most realistic imo.K18 El Duderino, UofLCard, 83837477 and 3 others like this. -

I mean, for all intents and purposes, from the only perspective you can ever actually experience, it is about you. The universe might as well cease to exist once you die, because you'll never experience it again or even know that it continues after. -

i think this life is just one phase of what we know as "life", and what we know as "death" is another phase and so forth, i dont think this life is the only thing we "live", we just dont know s--- so i believe life goes beyond our universe and whatever we think happens

Realistically, nothing.
But a little part of me believes in reincarnation. I baby is born as the soul of someone who has just died and Grey's a chance to improve their lives.UofLCard, KnowRayJones and Guma like this. -

This goes with my belief that when you die, your consciousness is locked into a dreamlike state that creates a dreamworld using recollections of past experiences.K18 El Duderino, Connor and Lucy like this.
