    Snoop is a celebrity in a way that most rappers aren’t, he’s marketed himself as a meme so successfully that there are probably millions of people out there who have never heard his music but know who Snoop Dogg is

    Outside of the us, Em is as close to mj household name as it gets. Obviously he isnt there but ppl use his name to describe rap. He is coke to describe soda. Cant exaggerate just how famous he is

    Your great aunt is one in a million. Snoop Dogg is never more famous. After Eminem came into the game in 99, he has been the most famous rapper ever and that didn't really change at all.

    Eminem's music is more popular so many of those searchs are for his music. Snoops music has faded from relevancy but almost everyone in America is aware of him as a persona.

    in the US I'd say about equally recognizable. but ems more widely known for being "the best rapper" and Snoops more known for being a famous than for his music.

    I mean sure, that may be a "fact" but you're also not really considering that... SNOOP DOGG POSTS ~20 TIMES A DAY. A DAY. Eminem probably doesn't even know what Instagram is, let alone use it. Some PR chick runs that s--- for him lol. So sure, he may have more followers, but he's also trying a lot harder.

    Eminem sells out arenas. I remember 10 years ago snoop was performing for jwu college in providence. My wife worked for the university and I got to see The show. But it was very average and like 100 kids there. There is no comparison.

    Absolutely, I'm not denying Snoop is a well known individual... Just, there's levels to this s---? Eminem is Michael Jackson famous... Snoop is closer to Janet Jackson lol...
