Jan 17, 2015 Tom Hardy is out as Rick Flag due to the filming & promotional schedule he has upcoming with other projects he has been working on. Jan 20, 2015 Rumour has it Batman will have a cameo appearance in Suicide Squad to set up for a solo Batman movie starring Affleck. It's apparently going to be influenced by Miller's The Dark Knight Returns comic arc. Take it with a grain of salt though.

Jan 21, 2015 as awesome as Batman obviously is, i'd rather not have him in this project. It would just seem like DC thinks they need him in everything to carry a DC movie. I'd rather just have them mention him.
Jan 25, 2015 They're looking to cast a Deathstroke, rumor has it as the main antagonist of the film. Joe Manganiello is the name floating around Jon Bernthal is one of the names currently in running for Flag
Jan 25, 2015 I would think Leto's Joker would be the main antagonist but I like that he'll be included. I would also think they would get a bigger name then Bernthal, I've heard rumors they are looking at Pitt and Cruise.

Now there is a chance it could be false as well. Pitt would be much better than Bernthal
Mar 31, 2015 Are they seriously putting Killer Croc in it? Not happy about that. Looks as though Batman will appear in Suicide Squad. Joker has already killed Jason Todd as well. Also, no face-paint, but bleached skin. Theres rumors going around that Joker is not the villain, but essentially Amanda Waller. She hires them to take out Batman because he's a sort of "boogeyman" to the people of Gotham.
