    A lot of people here have been a part of this community for literally 10-15 years. While I wish this forum was as active as it was in 2014-2017, I do like a smaller more tight knit community cuz you actually know most posters—plus a lot of the posts on bigger forums are spammy cuz they're treated like twitter instead of a forum. When I've posted on bigger forums I've found substantial discussion to be just as hard to find on an inactive forum in a lot of respects lol.

    Here's why:

    - We are better than them on every level.
    - Our people are smart and actually funny. Our people are well established and successfull in real life. Other forums are just full of virgin dweebs and thirsty simps with hairy sweaty armpits still living in their moms houses.
    - We provide exclusives that other forums talk about later.
    - It's quality posts mostly, that's why you don't get that many posts per hour.
    - You won't find that many different individuals and yet so caring about each other on some other peasant forums.

    Shall I continue or not? Henceforth, you know why we're superior.

    @Donkey Kong Cuntry said it perfectly. It's almost like this isn't a forum any more, it's a group of people who have known each other for over a decade, nearly 2 decades in fact. Numbers naturally get smaller as the years go by but that's just part of life.

    When I was a young boy, I hopped around forum to forum, catching bans, misunderstood in most of them. It wasn't until I found this community that I finally felt accepted. I was a stray and these people took me in with open arms. We didn't always see eye to eye but it was the unconditional love that made us all so close. We have gone through a lot together, including death. This isn't just a forum, its a family. Some of us have met in real life, took baths together and even fell in love. We fight like siblings most of the time but in th end would take a bullet for each other. Even when the forum isn't very active, its alive, and always here when we need it. Those other forums got nothing on us and we will outlast them all with our great-grandchildren carrying our legacy. We don't need anyone else.. I say we close registrations too.

    Studio Leaks was the first forum I ever signed up to, Rap Basement was before my time. Sxn 80 is the only music forum I ever go on, can't imagine signing up to anything else tbh

    Because if you want a constant stream of surface level observations u can just sign up for twitter and check the @s below a rappers post. There’s something to be said for having a community just big enough to find dissenting voices but not so big u have to engage with randoms who may not be worth ur time

    I mean I think we’d all love for it to be more alive here, but at the same time like said above I like the environment and feel of a small community like this. Everyone here has some mutual respect for one another here even when we “beef” and creative relationships and friendships are made here. I’ve made real life friends here and that doesn’t happen much on bigger platforms. Plus this forum/group of people has impacted the culture and major artists music/careers. All I know is, I’ve been a daily user/member of forums since 04. Was around for all the old forums leading up to this, I just wish I didn’t wait so long to sign up to this one. But even being officially a member to s80 for 4 years now I can say this place is the most home I’ve felt at out of all the forums I’ve been on. This is the first place I check every day when I reach for my phone. I enjoy living life offline but when I’m on, it’s here. We all talk smack and “beef” but I wouldn’t trade it for another forum. We do gotta get the creative section poppin more though.

    Yeahhhh I feel like everyone has said it. I enjoy seeing the people I’ve posted with since the studioleaks days. I care more for the opinion of those I’ve seen over and over Instead of just a bunch of random people on other forums.

    I’ve also taken a more causal but still interested approach to music and up and coming artists so I think it’s had a good balance for me with some good non music talk mixed in there too

    edit: I’m also not sure if @awhellno is newer or has been around for a while. Name change possibly or have I just always missed his posts?

    -Most Eminem forums like TRShady are basically dead
    -The Coli and KTT have basically banned immigration....I mean registration.
    -Reddit has more memes than discussions
