    Shady promoted the release date just days before it got pushed back. They usually don’t do that before delaying an album, they just delay it without a date. They likely had all the promo, CDs, etc etc ready, it would make no sense for them to delay. And like stated above, their friend and associate died in that time frame. It was likely a respect thing

    I could be wrong but it just seems unusual for a Shady delay.

    If I’m willing to guess, I bet it’s because DJ Shay just passed away. He probably didn’t feel right releasing this project within two weeks of his passing. This is his major label debut and he’s probably going to want to add something into the album honoring DJ Shay

    These guys are r-----ed. No one is saying TDE is a powerhouse group anymore. They haven’t released s--- in years. Dreamville released 1 album this year and it was better than all their projects combined.
    Y’all give Tech N9ne s--- for releasing an album and a few EP’s a year and Griselda out here releasing 2 albums of music a month that all sounds exactly the same with the same lyrical content.

    I think they're right. I follow the griselda guys pretty close. Shay was a huge factor in his career and his recording process. He had those audio clips of him on FKTAG. But I hes been saying he wants his shady album to be the most original thing to come out of the label. I think he prolly pulled the release back to add things for Shay. I could be wrong tho,

    but speaking of Shady Records do you know if Paul really handles all that s--- as far as dates, business etc and Em is blind to that side? I know Em is always there creatively for artist, to listen and help whatever when they ask but with slaughterhouse he even acted like he didnt know what was up, and I remember back in the day when 50 left interscope 50 said Em had no idea that he was having issues with jimmy and everything. He said when he went to talk to him about getting off the labels Em was supportive but didnt know the issues that happened.
