I can't stand Drake's music but I have to say Yay. It made him one of the biggest artists of the 2010s and is an iconic album for a whole generation.

In my definition, a classic doesn't have to be great or even good. For example, songs like Gangnam Style or Despacito, while trash songs, can arguably be considered classics since everybody knew them and they were sort of a generational experience. I consider Take Care a classic in the same vein.

    Definitely a yay from me

It was Drake's breakout moment (in light of The Weeknd controversy it would later generate), the broody image he'd define himself in was birthed in Take Care. Still has some of his strongest songs, there was still a hunger in his rhymes and you get the sensation he wanted to make a "classic" album with this. I think it's behind NWTS & IFYTITL, but those 3 have been his best contributions to the genre.

AlPha_aLpHA_ALPHA! ayyo its your boy, grim master. it's almost Labor Day lfg with another YAY OR NAY.

the latest edition: Compton, while not a wholly classic, holds a candle to Chronic and 2001. Worthy edition to Dre's disco? Yay - or - Nay

Of course it is worthy just it didn't meet my and many others expectations. Also too little Dre style production for my liking. So even though it is not exactly Detox it's definitely a good album.

    Yay

Absolute f---ing fire. It may not be what people were expecting, but the depth of the production outweighs 2001 tenfold.

Deep Water is f---ing insane production.

Dre turned into a legitimate rapper on this for the first time ever.

Every legend/OG & new artist obliterated everything in their path.

Talk About It is the only flaw to a phenomenal project & hella under appreciated overall.

Dre shouldn’t have made it an Apple Music exclusive when AM was just beginning & they should’ve released music videos too.
