I still have "I Love LOST" on my ipod, don't think I ever heard that other one. I don't think I have seen any LOST since last Christmas Eve, when I watched "The Constant" during my marathon of Christmas TV episodes :emoji_sob:

I just had a big debate in my head about what I should watch next, Twin Peaks or Lost for the second time. Problem solved. Thanks.

I'd personally go with Twin Peaks on that one. Especially with another season coming out in 2016!

If it was coming out in 2015 then i will probably go with Twin Peaks, but 2016? Maan. I don't think I will be very busy in december 2015. There is a lot of time to catch up this show, especially if it has only 30 episodes.

I was watching Lost with a voice-over when I was 10 years old. I bet I missed a lot of great stuff because of that. :emoji_slight_frown:

No other show will ever beat lost in terms of experience. Watching the show from week to week, over analyzing the s--- out of every single detail, the dreaded summer wait (it actually made me not want summer break from school), the theories, remember the f---ing theories? I remember the finale of season 2, s--- hit the fan, theorizing the possibilities let my imagination run wild. Also reading the theories online... there were some that when I read them, I swear I thought that it would the greatest story ever told.

Unfortunately season 6 is when times got really hard... And I didn't enjoy the direction they took with Locke, which was my all time favorite circa season 1-2 :emoji_slight_frown:

IMO this was a perfect example of the chase being better than the catch, and in this case, greatest chase ever.

OMG. This show is fantastic. The suspense is even bigger than 10 years ago! Absolutely incredible.

Also it's so evident in the pilot episode that John Locke is in fact a Jesus Christ.... Holy f---.

My girlfriend was starting this show when we started dating. Honestly not a fan. They jump the shark really quickly.
The pilot is dope though. Especially when that dude gets s----d into the turbine.

When it lost control of the plot and did things without considering the big picture. It gets really disjointed and hard to care about unless the complexity of the timelines hooks you.

But according to the writers they always had the big picture in mind! :rudy:

But I guess they had to say that so that the missteps throughout could be justified. Not every show can say their winging it like breaking bad and still come out on top lol

On topic, show is a pretty great experience but I wasn't there for the intial airing/hype. Solely from watching it as a TV show and not from a cultural POV, I would still recommend it, although it has awful bits throughout from the start of the series.

The problem with the show for me wasnt that it jumped the shark or anything (they still had me hooked with the time travel, island moving, s---) but that it didn't show any conviction with the various wild premises it had. The smoke monster, time travel, purgatory, all half assed in the grand scheme of things. The lost mythology should be a lot more meaningful than the random Easter eggs and tidbits that fanboys having gathering for years now
