Jul 14, 2015 I think the main contributing difference will be the attempts humor. Marvel's attempt at humor always steers me away from enjoying their movies. They seem to want to pander towards the LOL funny meme! audience/type of humor, and it's hard to suspend disbelief and when the plot wants us to feel high stakes while the dialog is tonally inconsistent. It looks like DC (or at least Ayer and the Suicide Squad production team) are going for humor that makes sense with the context of each character, rather than doing whatever will evoke a huge laugh from the viewing audience.
Jul 14, 2015 I know the films are probably not gonna turn out to be masterpieces, but as someone who grew up with the DCAU, this is a f---ing dream come true. I never thought I'd see something like this on the big screen.
