Mar 30, 2015 I think that's inevitable when you begin to release music at the volume Drake does. I have close to 50 songs he's dropped in the last 15 months I agree though, how many times is he going to tell us about that one girl that didn't believe in him but now wishes she had etc. I'm not sure, but if he continues to deliver at this quality, I'm down to listen to the story a few more times. haha. But his range is great too, this is all from the same creative time period: whewww
Mar 30, 2015 Word I can't complain too much about his output, I think I mentioned before that he's been exceptional since his popularity skyrocketed back when SFG dropped, broken records for writing hits and dropped a classic like TC. I got faith he'll still be relevant as long as he continues this level, keeps hopping on tracks and turn them into anthems and if the critics still back him.
Mar 30, 2015 Drake is a good lyricist over all, the problem is that he has dropped through his carrer some the most cheesy lines in Hip Hop story
Mar 30, 2015 Nah but i feel you, i never liked Kanye as a rapper or lyricist neither, but the rest of the community seems to love the guy so i try to don't talk about him
Mar 31, 2015 im actually on the phone flippin apps all day for LevelUp so i actually relate to drake now i couldnt get with all the falling in love with strippers, and spending millions bs he should rap more about tech support next
Mar 31, 2015 You've said this to me before, but now that I think about it, what about artists like thug whove had more material released in the past year or so than drakes entire discog but still manage to be innovative/interesting almost every time? I get you're point, but it sounds like an excuse for drake
Mar 31, 2015 Bro you hear the nuances and the difference in flows/content etc in Young Thug's music because you're a fan of his music, and have been exposed to enough of it that you have a good grasp on him as an artist. You know that argument people make about The Weeknd's music, that all of it sounds the same? It's the same thing with Young Thug.
