    My iPod crashed awhile back. Now when I try to put songs on it I get to about 150-200 then it says error -50. And I have to restore my iPod and start from scratch. I've restored it several times, updated iTunes and used other programs and still nothing. I've even used other computers.

    What iPod do you use and which software version is installed?

    IPod classic, 6th generation. 160 GB. I have the newest up to date iTunes.

    Yeah. Isn't doing that and restoring it the same thing?

    Try these steps:
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/classic/

    If your iPod still doesn't work, then you need to call the Apple Support.

    Thanks for the help. Actually never thought of calling apple. I assume it would be a pain, so that'll be last resort. Lol

    Probably, but I once had trouble with my iPod and tried restoring it via iTunes, and it didn't help, and when I did a factory reset it did so, i don't know
