    Because he didnt do anything to change the game all that much.. His music is alright, and he only has 1 classic album and its not even a perfect 10. IMO Kanye, Nas, Eminem, Jay Z, Pac, and Andre 3000 are all better than Biggie

    Elsewhere in the interview, August talked about a line from the cut "Song Cry," off his forthcoming album "This Thing Called Life." In it, he referenced Drake and J. Cole.

    According to the singer, he reached out to both rappers to be on the song, but it never materialized.

    "I literally talked to Cole about hopping on that song. I literally talked to Drake about hopping on that song," explained August. "Cole actually called me and was like 'Man, I love the song, but I just feel I don't like have anything to offer' ... He also said he's trying to move in a different direction. Whatever direction that is I don't know."

    "And Drake, he told me that he would do the record too, several times but you know everybody out here living their own life ... I got love for those guys," he added.

    His music didnt sound different from anything being released. The only rapper I know that is influenced by him is Jay Z and Jay is better

    How do you feel about this?

    I think there are some good points in here... I think that he tends to swagger jack on words or the way he raps phrases at times tho...

    Completely untrue. come on bro, if you're gonna make claims like these at least have some basis behind them. he is essential to the game. he made hits without dumbing his rhymes down. nobody rapped about the streets like he did, he had a new perspective that people took and ran with after him
