    On the real tho, who else got a little sad when he said that he's not trying to compete with Drake and him labeling Drake as a different kind? I've always felt like Cole has the potential to reach Drake's level, even if it's not achieved through putting out club music.

    I don't think ultimately he's given up on reaching drake status, but I think he's given up on being somewhat controlled or adhering to what a typical mainstream artist is generally expected to do. I think the underlying message was he is 'free', he may or may not reach drake status with his current method,but it doesn't matter - because he's doing what he loves, how he wants to his own standards.
