    I'm not surprised that people don't care about these reference tracks. When people found out Rick Ross was a CO that didn't stop people from listening to him. Rap is all a facade. There's very few "real" rappers.

    Cole show was incredible last night in Pittsburgh!! He had the whole crowd going ape s---. A Tale Of 2 Citiez is something else live :wow2:

    His banter in between songs had the crowd cracking up. He's working some funny bits into the mix.

    Cole's stage presence is so captivating. He's the GOAT performer.

    Cozz is on the come up. More ppl than I thought knew the words to his s---. It's gonna be dope to see how much he grows.

    I'm glad I have the day off to recuperate and catch up on all the s--- I missed. I gotta hear this Meek track still. From what I've read it's weak as s--- :westbrook3:

    I still dont really see why it's dishonest for drake to use outside resources on a track. I value genuineness, but i don't understand why it's fake for him to bring outside help to attain a certain sound.

    He had a story at the show in Chicago where he was talking about trying to get people to hear his mixtape in NY, and nobody would take it. Then he said something like now I got people sending me s--- telling me "J Cole please listen to my s--- I promise I won't let you down", and I play that s--- and it's the worst s--- I ever heard in my life lol. He had the whole crowd laughing throughout the night.

    It's mostly ignorance, or the downfall syndrome. The people that don't want to see Drake succeed will hang onto this for dear life. Even the guys from Slaughterhouse said it wasn't a big deal and that they've used reference tracks. Anyways, despite a few lines, didn't Drake write most of the RICO verse and most of the songs supposedly "ghostwritten" on his album?

    Meek's diss track was very predictable. No clever quotables or anything remotely memorable. Kind of embarrassing actually :empalm:

    Oh it's definitely a group effort going on with this. Meek Mill didn't just pull this out of thin air. You gotta ask how did Funkmaster Flex, who is nowhere near this situation, end up with these songs?
