Jan 1, 2015 I am well aware that it is not about religion but it is riddled with religious references and ideas. Afterlife, looking down from heaven etc all things that I believe are daft. But like the other guy said, the religious tone to this song doesn't make this a s--- song. It does that with its content about a story that never happened and awful autotune returning.

It's art, just appreciate a different perspective. It's not like he's preaching about how we should all accept Jesus or burn in h---.

I think the general reception of New was pretty accurate, it's a 77/100 on Metacritic, he obviously isn't as great as he was in his prime, but he never fell off either. putting out a good album while freestyling much of it and doing it at the age of 71 is very impressive.

Jan 1, 2015 Kanye drives Lamborghini's and is f---ing Kim Kardashian every night yet he's out here making songs from what he'd imagine his Mom would be telling him as he's falling asleep. It's hard to believe there are still rap fans and music fans in general that dismiss him simply as another rapper. He's potentially the greatest artist to use rap as the landscape for his musical ideas.
