Jan 2, 2015 Feel like these three tracks that also dropped on New Years Eve need to be recognized. Incredible features on Choke, one of the best hooks of the year on Hold Us, and another dope as f--- solo track from thugger
Jan 6, 2015 Choke was coo, I was expecting Nipsey to sound out of place but it turned out to be a nice surprise. I found Hold Us to be disappointing honestly, felt like a filler track just to keep the name out there. Pelican Fly is
Jan 6, 2015 dude thug's parts at the start of hold us and the beat…with headphones one it sounds so dope. it mirrors and switches up with the verses so well. whatever keys those are in the background are so good and rich homie/peewee have dope verses as well i have no idea what young thug's first line is tho..first time i heard that s--- i was like
Jan 6, 2015 Lmao after a good 15-20 rewinds i'll probably decipher it...These kind of instrumentals aren't really my cup of tea. London On The Track deserves equal share of praise for giving them a rich and catchy sound that gives them that perfect balance to let them do their thing. Outta curiosity which one do you prefer Tha Tour 1 or 2?
Jan 6, 2015 Also @Fire Squad what don't you like about the best for hold us? The more I listen to it, the more I love it. It sounds dope for the hook, and it's just perfect when it switches up during their verses (like when thug says "fingertips got fungy fungi, I'm a real n----- u a fun guy" )
Jan 6, 2015 @Narsh Ah ok that makes sense since I just read how it's supposed to be coming out this year, but whoever uploaded the comp decided to name it Tha Tour 2 . I've heard this style of production with the drum patterns and synths (sometimes with the keys in the background) so many times since Lex Luger started getting prominent back in 2010, I liked them at first but it started getting repetitive to me so that's mostly why I'm not feeling it as much as you.
