Jul 30, 2015 I thought Mario 3D World for Wii U was garbage compared to Galaxy, and even Sunshine. Mario World was dull, lacked any sense of exploration/adventure, and was just basically going from start to flagpole, repeat. The bowser battle with kicking soccer ball bombs back was a letdown. Cat Bowser was cool though. If you're talking about New Super Mario Bros Wii, that was fun with friends, but it's been watered down heavily with all the installments that followed. Galaxy, Galaxy 2, Mario 64, and Super Mario Bros 3 are still my favorites. 64 was a mindblowing experience when it launched. Yes!
Jul 31, 2015 I wouldn't put Paper Mario/Super Mario Sunshine in the "main" Mario game category. Mario 64 was such a bad game. A sandbox environment doesn't suit Mario very well.
