I'm thinking it's the perfect time for a thread like this. I love rap, I love horror. I've seen that some people here are into the genre as well. This isn't meant to be some pure horrorcore rap thread, rather a place anyone can post a horror/halloween related or inspired song they like, maybe you have a story that goes with it so go for it. I'll be posting some songs I like that sample horror films or at least have that type of feel to it and I'll be skipping some of the obvious suspects but as I said, feel free to post anything! @joeyp363 you can even go for some Tech N9ne..

This is off Prodigy and Alchemist joint album 'Albert Einstein', I don't think it's available on spotify but it's worth a find and listen in full. The way the beat breaks down in the middle of the song is straight up 70/80s (italian?) horror flick!

This one is very recent so people might know it here. It's probably my favorite use of the Friday the 13th theme I've heard in rap ever and also a mini cypher/showcase type song from Griselda's old and new members.

Going with the Friday the 13th feel, Elzhi dropped a song called JASON this year as well. Doesn't have a horror feel to it or anything but makes some Jason references so good enough I guess.

Going some years back here, Behind Closed Doors is a terrific introduction to Pharoahe. I swear I've heard the instrumental used here in some movie but can't quite put my finger on it..

Yeah these are all classics. I have so many that there is no way I have the time to post them all. Would probably crash the site tbh

I’ll post this though. Arguably the greatest song of all time and the possibly top 3 verse of all time across all genres courtesy of the man, the myth, the legend, HOPSIN GOAT.

I think Seven actually made this beat in the kitchen with pots and pans. So RAW, so organic, I love it
