"I like endings." the Headline in the Complex article suggests that Gambino will stop rapping as Childish Gambino, but will continue to do music. I feel like this is going to happen. I was actually reading on reddit today about how Bino's next album will be entitled "A L M A N A C" after a line in a song in which he says "Tell that n----- I was poor and I ain't goin' back But now I'm richer, all I need's a f---in' almanac" Many people across the forums there and at KTT believe that this stupid, and far fetched and so on, and so on... (sources on reddit say that the next album is going to start with the letter A, to complete the order of C,B,A) Camp is the story of the boy, when he was actually a boy, when he was younger, more naive and childish. Because the Internet is the story of the boy, 15 years later, a man, his mother and father passed, and he's a depressed kid living in this huge mansion, he's rich and he admits his friends are fake and mostly only there because of his money. He is always around them, but he always feel reclusive. He is still childish in this era, making stupid, rash decisions such as deciding to become a d--- dealer (as read in the screenplay). I feel like the next album, will be his final album as Childish Gambino as well as the Boy (not the last project from him ever though, and the boy was definitely based of off bino himself, imo at least) I honestly don't know what to expect from here though, we can't really say much, BTI was a whole switch up from Camp so who know what bino has for us next? I just hope it's as GOAT as BTI was for me. Expect to see the album coming out sometime this year too, probably for a June/July release. You guys have any thoughts on this? Also, will link ya'll to some cool Roscoe's Wetsuit, and other Gambino related secret/cool/weird/genius s--- later.
