    between the new killer and the fact that Dexter might get caught, I really feel this season is a good mix of seasons 2 and 4. They've nailed the vibe though and I'm glad everything is coming back on Dexter. I saw someone say everything seems so convenient for Dexter to get caught this season. But I feel thats what s----d about seasons 5-8, was they'd just conveniently let Dexter off the hook. I'm glad it's been a perfect storm to get Dexter caught this season.

    is this a complete new season or some kind of reboot?

    Dont want to spoil myselfe cause i never finished dexter completly

    It's a new season under a new name (Dexter: New Blood). Not a reboot at all, everything that happened in the original run is canon. How far into the series did you get?

    I remember @Worm and I watched the entire series week to week back in the day (on another forum). And we kept hoping it'd get good again. Don't do that to yourself. Read a synopsis from seasons 5-8 and then watch the new season. It's better this way.

    tbh I think 5 and 7 are worth watching though obviously not as good as the first four. 6 is pretty bad but not outright unwatchable (you could just watch the last ep tho and not miss much lol). For 8 I would just watch the premiere and the finale to see how bad it is, basically nothing in the season matters besides the last ep lol

    I thought the same thing. I assume some of that will have to do with how well this season does. I've enjoyed it and have only heard good things from others so thats probably a good sign if it is being discussed.

    Another great Ep.
    I think Dexters days are outnumbered by end of the series. I think a execution in the chair ending for him will be fitting with all the families down the years of his victims watching him in the stand and past characters, dark passengers all there. Would be my own ideal ending anyways. Molly also clearly know who Dexter really is and suspects he is the Bay Harbour butcher. Bring on the second half of the season anyways.

    Worth the watch? Heard it’s good. First couple seasons were elite in my eyes; everything else after was kinda meh, especially the last 2. Loved the Doakes season (2 I think?) I like the character Dexter a lot. I’m out of work all week so I’ll probably give this a watch.

    My prediction for the end of the show

    I'm really loving this season so far and I really widh there would be more but I just can't see that happening and I don't think I want Harrison to have a spin off.

    I can see a couple things happening, this show isn't about happy endings so I really can't see Dexter and Harrison riding off into the sunset happily ever after. I think Harrison is going to k--- someone that doesn't deserve it and as bad as he may want to I can't see dexter allowing it to go unpunished. It would also prevent his curse to continue through his son. I can also see Harrison killing someone and getting caught with dexter taking the blame for it so that Harrison has a second chance and to also finally be punished for his past

    I don’t think so. I think Kurt is moulding him to what he wants him to be and the show is slowly turning Harrison in to a villain or someone who is becoming seduced to evil. Bit of Anakin and Palpatine thing and will have a twisted version of what Harry’s code is. Definitely the start of the end for Dexter in one way or the other anyways

    I havent anticipated weekly episodes since dexter and breaking bad went off the air. f---, this has been so good
