Jun 18, 2015 doesnt matter, i dont even like the guy...but you had 4 seasons of investment on him...you forced me to invest, i will not allow this to end off screen like that...this is worse than lost season 6..this is worse than the finale of battlestar...this is ALMOST as bad as the end of dexter...i will literally quit watching of Stannis is rly dead...bad bad baaaaaaaaad writing..like i hope the person who wrote this to die if Stannis is gone...what the actual f--- is this bs, i feel betrayed and i want my time back
Jun 18, 2015 im scared now cuz this entire s--- didnt happen in the books, so they may very well have actually killed him...like jesus christ
Jun 18, 2015 We see him lose as integrity over the course of the show. Betraying his best friend, cheating on his wife, siding with blood magic, murdering his brother, burning his daughter, etc. It makes sense for him to die. I thought he should've died in the battle tbh, but it's a minor complaint.
Jun 18, 2015 listen to me, Stannis isnt dead...cuz, it makes no f---ing sense for the guy to just die like that i have a son, he is 5 years old..he can write better than that, therefore...f---ing stannis isnt dead
Jun 18, 2015 How doesn't it make sense? He just killed his daughter and forced his wife into suicide for no reason. Where exactly do you see him going? He very well may not be dead. Just saying it would make perfect sense if he was. Would honestly be one of the earned deaths of the show.
Jun 18, 2015 you looking at it backward, it doesnt matter if its deserved or not..it doesnt matter if he has no place to go from here...they wrote the entire story badly...EVERYTHING was going his way up until episode what? episode 8 or 9 ? then you were like "hmmm ok we will write that he will burn his daughter so we can justify that he will die off screen an episode later" .. NO Jon snow isnt dead...Stannis isnt dead...if they are, then L.M.A.O
Jun 18, 2015 to put it in simple words, that was the MOST anti climatic s--- ever witnessed on TV...i dare you to show me a worse version of anti climatic ... and this is why, this is BAD WRITING
Jun 18, 2015 like seriously wtf...this entire season (and seasons before) he was this f---ing badass character, then like a cartoon episode, few men comes in and burn their food...so hes like "let me burn my daughter" then he dies off screen...all of this happen at the span of two episodes how the f--- are you defending this s--- writing @CharlieWork
Jun 18, 2015 His defeat at King's Landing? The many things I listed that were damaging to his humanity? Yeah, the Ramsay thing was stupid as h---. I definitely agree with that.
Jun 20, 2015 Books > show but Howard stern has a point.....maybe they shouldn't have to waste 300k on f---ing cgi because daenarys and cersei don't want to show their Rita and they could use that money to pay to introduce new characters and still afford to keep the d ones.
Jun 20, 2015 I don't think money is the real issue, HBO makes close to 5 billion a year. The main problem is the time restraints by having a 10 episode season.
Jun 21, 2015 yeah so this might be like my 2nd or 3rd favorite season of got idk what the f--- half of u are talking about
Jun 21, 2015 I completely agree with what @Koolo has been saying as soon as Stannis died I looked to my girl and pretty said verbatim what he been posting. It's doesn't matter if he's likable or not to have the show build him up as one of the more important characters in this world then k--- him off in 10 seconds leaves you feeling unfulfilled and frustrated at the time the show, and by extension you, have put into his storyline. People who read the books and people who just watch the show are really two different fan basis completely. We don't have books to fall back on when the show f---s up on something
Jun 21, 2015 I've never read the books, still think it makes sense for stannis to end up dead (don't think he will be though..he's obviously more useful alive)
Jun 21, 2015 Obvious that Jon isn't dead. I don't think Stannis is either tbh Stannis says to that dike before he dies - "do your duty". Wasn't her duty to protect/save Sansa? Idk I just can't see her killing Stannis, seems too obvious. No way they'd cut the scene if he wasn't alive, whats the point? For dramatic effect? WOAT ending of a great character if he actually is dead, but I don't think thats the case Season 5 was probably the worst but it was still enjoyable
Jun 21, 2015 no one is arguing if he should be dead or not, the way he died is the problem....i cant think of a worse anti climatic in history of TV
Jun 21, 2015 I think it's only anti climatic in a bad way if you placed way too much focus on him (like it seems like you and some others did) I detached myself from the characters (I obviously still have my favorites that I would be as pissed as you about if they died, in any way) because the show has its own moral compass -- and I want to be able to sit back and watch it work Stannis was a foolhardy prick to me from the start. And he gave in to the blood magic. He killed his brother. He passive aggressively loved his daughter and wife. He shunned his daughter only to embrace her when he was weak and needed someone to b---- to. But in her at the stake was literally just a physical manifestation of she's been treated her whole life. Cruficied. His wife's no angel either but he's complaint in her suicide without a doubt. His sense of duty was flawed from the start. He deserves to be dead. I hope he is. But I don't think he will be.
