Jun 29, 2016 Nah she gave Olenna the card with their house sigil on it remember? she at least wasn't brainwashed EDIT: seems everyone had this conversation already
Jun 30, 2016 Wonder how Bran is gonna tell Jon he is Targaryen and his dad is Rhaegar and his mum is Lyanna. Since Jon is King Of The North he can theoretically give himself a title cos he has all the power
Jun 30, 2016 I wonder if Aemon knew that Jon was related to him? it would explain why he was always so nice to Jon
Jun 30, 2016 He didn't know. He didn't even find out about Dany until it was too late (at least according to the books).
Jun 30, 2016 nah Jon is a naturally likeable person thats why people rally behind him. He is the chosen one after all
Jun 30, 2016 Besides Bran, Howland Reed knows. He has yet to make an appearance in the books but he was in the Tower of Joy fight scene in the show. He saved Ned from Arthur Dayne. He also sent his children, Meera and Jojen to help Bran. My guess is that next season they'll show what Howland has been up to. Bran and Howland are the only two who can confirm Jon's parentage. Varys might know also because of his vast spy network. Maybe Littlefinger too. I don't know if Benjen knows or not. He definitely can't tell Jon unless Jon goes North of the Wall again.
Jun 30, 2016 Littlefinger seems to imply that he knows about it in the conversation he had with Sansa.not sure how he could know though the future
Jul 1, 2016 This dude brought up a point that I didn't even think of. It's possible that the citadel knows about Jon Snow's parentage as well. As secretive as they are, they might have decided to keep it a secret.
Jul 1, 2016 What's the go with the dickless bald guy, I keep hearing people say he teleports, but I always thought dorne was like just down the road from danny's pyramid slave city ?
Jul 1, 2016 There's just a lot of time jumps within some of the storylines and everything we see happening isn't necessarily happening at the same time.
Jul 1, 2016 Yeah that's pretty much what I assumed, he didn't seem to be in the last 3 eps before the finale, or wasn't on screen much. Just don't know GoT universe geographically that well, but i'm pretty sure Dorne is like really close to Danny's city. was actually confused when i saw so many people say online he could teleport, thought i might of missed something.
Jul 1, 2016 i think thats kind of ridiculous to call him useless. Killed a whitewalker and a Thenn, now has one of the last valerian steel swords left in existence Ive always thought that sam was integral to the plot, Sam may be a fat c---- with no fighting skills, but he's a f---ing smart courageous c----. he will definitely gain some sort of knowledge from the citadel and I think hes going to be one of Jon Snow's most useful allies
Jul 1, 2016 would honestly prefer if they cucked the actor, and Sam just appears in the show from now on as "oh its a raven from sam, the maester of book land" and they dont show him again. While I agree with you, there are some points where Sam is a central part to the plot, but my f---ing god am i tired of hearing about those 2 fucken r-----s that follow him around
Jul 1, 2016 Well I felt that the amount of scenes that Sam was in during this season was appropriate. Really enjoyed the scene with Randyl Tarly and Sam stealing his family sword. (one of the few times they did a good job casting the family) I doubt we will see much of him in this next season anyhow. The way it is panning out, there isn't enough time in the books or the show for Sam to become a maester by the end of it all so i'm wondering where they will go with his arch and what his function will be. To me Sam and Bran are both very important to the plot for similar reasons
Jul 1, 2016 Sam is very important, especially to Jon's part of the story. He was the one that suggested to Old Bear to burn those bodies before one of them tried to attack Old Bear. He was part of the reason Jon became Lord Commander. He is the first person in the story/show to k--- a White Walker and he told Jon about Dragonglass. He's also in possession of a Valyrian sword (his family's sword) which can be used against the White Walkers. More than likely he's going to find out more important information in the War against the White Walkers. Assuming he doesn't die, he might be the one who writes the history of everything that's transpired. Maesters are the ones who write the history books.
