Feb 19, 2015 Im a fan of both. New Em gave us Cinderella Man, Seduction, Space Bound, No Love, Rap God, Bad Guy, Love Game, etc. Idk what is not good about those songs tbh. Hip hop fans are so fickle.
Feb 19, 2015 Drugged out Eminem was f---ing terrible, Em may not be great now but he has still not released anything worse than Half of Encore, Fack, Lean Back Remix verse, Most of his stuff on D12World, Pimplikeness, Touchdown, Pistol Poppin, The Re up, Jimmy Crackcorn and probably more. I think some people on here forget how bad he was back then.
Feb 20, 2015 His flow now is nuts.. Its probably very difficult to do. That being said it sounds awful. Idk what was wrong with his flow on recovery though I thought it was pretty decent. That relapse flow was cold tho probably his best as far as just playing with the beat goes
Feb 20, 2015 If we're talking 2004-2007, there isn't THAT much No Apologies was made in 2002 besides the last verse (which was alright but not as good as the first 2) so that can't be used in this case, neuter will any of Encore's bonus tracks (leaked in 03). The only songs I can legitimately say Em did a good/great job on during this time are: American Psycho 2 Crazy In Love Evil Deeds Spend Some Time Like Toy Soldiers When I'm Gone Shake That (guilty pleasure and as a club track it was executed well) Welcome To Detroit Drama Setter & No More To Say hooks There They Go Warrior Pt 2
Feb 20, 2015 now that's true. You can say everything about Eminem but saying his something bad about his sale numbers just shows how much you become an hater anyway. And some of you saying he can't ride a beat no more. I think he managed to give us few good flows on SHady XV of course when you compared them to his TES or MMLP flows it's wacker but still not as bad as you guys say it is.
Feb 20, 2015 you see the current flow as wack but the reasons it's like that make it fascinating and endearing no h--- but what he's been through adds levels to the music that raaapping liiike thiiis juuust doooesn't briiing ouuut I've said this before and I'll say it again, on mmlp and tes the flow was robotic as f--- and he was leaning on beats harder than death needed to lean on everything in one for the angels he's currently putting more energy and attention into every single syllable than entire bars were receiving pre-comeback if you listen to the soul intent/bassmint tapes or the ssep or the warning or don't front or the cxvpher it's easy to see how much thought is going into the delivery of each and every word now letting freddie mercury and steven tyler decide how shady spit for an entire album obviously worked well but it's not what fans want to hear from him in 2015 trust me as long as the lyricism stays on the incline it's on I believe that if marshall continues working closely with in house production on choosing instrumentals carefully, while refining the supersonic flow and the fine line flow, then the next lp will top tes
