Yeah pretty much normal now. I had reconstructive surgery where they cut out part of my patella tendon and screwed it in as my new ACL. I get tendonitis every once in awhile but I can still run, jump and drop kick babies just fine.

I've had plenty of bruised knees before thanks to always driving into the table by accident and one time because my punk older brother uppercut my knee. :mjcry:

d--- @Kvp187 and @Worm I'm glad to hear you guys are doing better. I'm going through some knee issues right now too from running, I might either have irritated cartilage from chondromalacia or I might have a slight tear in my meniscus, I got the MRI last week and should know by tomorrow. :hovcry:

The bad knee clicks a lot though so it might be tendonitis

So yeah, this is similar to @Raziel's "closest you've come to dying thread" but I thought it was different enough to warrant a new thread.

For me, it'd probably be when I was free running and, instead of clearing a wall I clipped it with both of my feet, causing me to tumble maybe 3m onto concrete whilst gaining a bunch of scrapes on the sandstone wall along the way. I landed pretty terribly and cracked my tailbone and dislocated my shoulder as well as getting covered all over in cuts ans scrapes. It s----d.

So what are the worst injuries you've ever had, and how did you get them?

Another one, this was a freak injury. I was donating blood and the lady who was talking my blood put the needle in and hit my vein, but went right through it. The first red flag was air bubbles were coming through the tube as they were drawing blood. This made the blood useless since oxygen had mixed in so she unhooked me up.

My arm was sore right away, which they told me wasn't normal but to get fluids.

I woke up the next morning which my arm completely blue. Not just where the needle went in, but all up my bicep and down my forearm was blue. I couldn't move my arm at all, the slightest turn would hurt like h---. I went to the doctor and he told me that blood had leaked in side my arm and started hardening throughout my muscles.

That s--- didn't heal for a full month :mjcry:

Suffice it to say, while I know this is a 1 in 100 occurrence, I could never bring myself to donate blood again.

I was very accident prone as a kid. A lot of bad scrapes from wipe outs which I still have scars from. The worst one I wiped out going downhill in a ravine and chipped my front tooth.

Another one was playing tag where I was slightly pushed from behind, the forward momentum combined with the push had me wipe out in a gravel lot. and tear open the skin on my palms. I was supposed to go out of town for the weekend, so I did and when I came back and went to the doctors he told me skin had started healing over top of the injury which wasn't properly cleaned. So I had to put my hands in a tub of water with sand paper on the bottom and scrub my injuries. I don't wish that on no one s--- hurt like a b----.

    Sports related injuries:
Playing basketball I was pushed into the pole while driving the net, cut open my eye lid
Playing hockey I was elbowed in the eye, and cut open the other eyelid :laff:
When I used to practice Tae Kwon Do I had those shin bruises for years that never really healed til I stopped fighting
    A few sprained ankles

Other than that I've been pretty good. No concussions or broken bones to date despite playing contact sports for most of my life. :obama2:

How many injuries have you suffered so far in life and what were they?

Stitches in my head twice ( playing baseball, the other practicing sliding in baseball in my house as a kid)
    Stitches in my finger.
    Dislocated hip (football)
Chipped a bone in my knee (basketball)
Clogged a blood vessel below my knee (football)
    Dislocated my finger (basketball)
Sprained my left ankle, broke my right (both non sports related injuries)

i was the light skin greg oden, the puerto rican amare stoudemire and the straight eye'd tmac growing up. I've been injury free for a while now.
