    I would argue that Late Registration is better than that tracklist :idk:.

    The reason MBDTF is perfect is because it's not only a collection of 13 perfect to near perfect tracks, it's also the cohesiveness in production that you hear from start to finish. Despite all this, you still have highs and lows and fast and slow tempo tracks. The best thing though, the entire album is filled with musical moments. The end of Dark Fantasy, the middle of DINAD, AOTL interlude, Lost In The World etc.

    Like @Kvp187 said, this isn't even a collection of Kanye's best track. It's just this album is perfect.

    Eminem has great tracks, some of the ones you listed are better than some of the ones on MBDTF BUT as a collective they're leagues away from what Kanye did with that album.

    That album will probably never be topped, it's the best album in the history of this genre and I say that without any hesitation :wow5:

    A bit off point, but I've always felt that Late Registration was more of a collection of great songs than a very well flowing album, similar to what he was trying to do with Em. Not that it flows badly or anything (it doesn't), but when contrasted with MBDTF or College Dropout, h--- even Graduation, it's just not as cohesive as an album. Which isn't really too much of a criticism; the songs are so undeniably great and it flows well enough (minus some skits) that it doesn't really detract all that much.

    Its a weird task trying to make an album better than MBDTF. That album isnt kanyes 12 best songs, its the best arrangement of music hes made though. If we put 12 of ems best songs vs MBDTF, obviously Em will have the better 12 songs, but does that make it a better album? MBDTF was a perfect album, GKMC was near perfect so a couple tweaks here and there could put that album at MBDTF level.

    GKMC with Cartoons and cereal replacing real and black boy fly as the outro replacing compton would prolly be as good as MBDTF imo.

    All that said, GKMC is pretty close to perfect as well, outside those last 2 tracks.

    If you had The Heart Pt 3 as the outro on that album, and used Black Boy Fly you'd have a perfect album imo.
