Since it's a flat color i just copied a rectangle from above it. Then I ran a median filter with a 1 pixel radius to get rid of the jpg compression artifacts and resaved as top quality png.

Did you ever re-watch Lucky Star after that? I don't think there's a single episode without some sort of Haruhi reference.

I didn't watch Lucky Star a second time until just a few months ago. At first I watched Lucky Star, then Haruhi, and then a montage of all the Haruhi references in Lucky Star. Lucky Star was the first anime I ever saw all the way through, incidentally
