    this album needs to have a theme/proper direction. not just a compilation of new songs.

    imagine a timeline album. starting from his soul intent days up to the present with a final retirement song.

    hey fa----s, obvious reasoning for 'roots' is this

    every album up til now has a distinct sound where when you hear his voice, you know what album(era) the song is from (time capsule)

    lately he has been getting more and more complex with his rhyming and he ended it off with shadyxv and speedom

    roots will be a return to more simplistic rhyming and flow by taking the rapping back to his roots of sslp mmlp tes

    people argue his roots would be soul intent and infinite but i believe eminem sees sslp as his roots rather than infinite
    because everyone including him pretends infinite doesnt exist

    and whoever "we" was is obviously an idiot

    mmlp2 was ment to be a theme throwback


    eminem obviously considers his current rhyming to be the pinnacle or really good (or else why would he keep rhyming like this)

    so obviously 'roots' is taking the rhyming down back to the basics and no more of this technical s---

    eminem always adjusts to what the fans want and i guarantee he knows we are tired of the fast s---


    he's gonna take it to the basics.. for someone like him to stop rhyming fast, he needs to name his album 'roots' so that people don't think he just randomly stopped being super technical

    he wants you to know its on purpose.. and that he could rhyme fast anytime but wants to take us back to easy s---
