    NWTS is good not great its Highs are extremely high (Tuscan Leather/Furthest Thing/...and its lows (Connect/The Language...) well are very low. I think it got better a litter better with age. Yeezus>>>

    NWTS took me awhile to really come around to it, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I actually like it better then Take Care, I know that's not a popular opinion but hey what are you gunna do? lol. I was listening to it tonight on the way back from class. Tuscan Leather :cp3:

    • Tremendous improvement from a rapping stand point for Drake. On his prior efforts he came off as really corny, rapped in cliches and was straight monotone. This album he sounds hungry with something to prove.
    • Cocky Drake is just great, the way he lashes out at people on this record is something you would hear from a young Jay-Z. "I'm tired hearing about who you checkin' for now, just give it time, let's see who's still around a decade from now" :cp3:
    • The production throughout this album is pretty fantastic. Lots of hypnotic beats but also some soothing ones.
    • The high points on this album are some of the best tracks Drake has ever made in his career. Tuscan Leather is a top 10 Drake track easy tbh. The Language, From Time, and Pound Cake are up there too.

    Definetely listenable unlike Yeezus. Has some great beats. Pound Cake was f---in' awesome. And it's more rap than his first two albums I think so it's a good album in overall.

    I actually like NWTS just slightly more than take care honestly,
    I mean take care is a better collection of songs overall, but i just loved how cohesive NWTS is, i know im in the minority here, but i really love the vibe this album has going for it from start to finish....

    This. Of course there are a few great songs on the album, but overall I remember being extremely underwhelmed after my first couple of listens. Got bored of it way too quickly, whereas I'm still bumping TC to this day :emoji_fire:

    Take Care is the only Drake album I mess with, the only thing I like about the Drake albums is those 40 beats.
