Jan 29, 2015 But like you cried about me not responding to your super awesome points, and I did Then you don't even acknowledge it
Jan 29, 2015 I meant my points about fine line. you keep talking about rap god. I wasn't comparing rap god it was the first sorta new song I thought of. also I'm laughing not crying. get a clue bro
Jan 29, 2015 i can't believe I'm arguing with someone who doesn't understand the dynamic between em, jay and royce and thinks young thug matters
Jan 29, 2015 I'm not talking about the emoji u dumbass Also, you did bring up rap god lmao. So your point is fine line > any song by em in his prime? Wanna make a poll about it?
Jan 29, 2015 So, we have Rap God. The rapping on it is pretty good, especially after first listen. But the lyrics? Better written than any of his prime songs? Almost EVERY song or verse he did in his prime is better written than Rap God. There are a few good parts, but most of it is just random. The execution is fine but you were talking about the lyrics. His renegade verses are 100 times better than RG as well. And then Jay came in and murdered that track. I don't see what Young Thug has to do with any of this. I have to be honest, his voice kind of annoys me, but the guy has talent, no doubt. Fine Line is a great song, especially the second verse. But still, most of his work in his prime was better. It is obviously one of his best songs after 8 mile, and it could be compared to some of his better work, but his best written song, h--- no. @csw621
Jan 29, 2015 lmao his stuff is basic as f--- especially lately em is doing eight nine and ten syllable schemes with very meaningful messages and implying I whether you care
Jan 29, 2015 em passed nas' skill level with infinite tbh he even said he felt like nas because of all the comparisons and em had zero real studio experience at the time
Jan 29, 2015 Its music bro. If you have to resort to counting the amount of rhyming syllables in a line u lost. i don't give a f--- if em rhymes his entire first verse with his entire second verse if it sounds like s--- it's still s--- to me.
Jan 29, 2015 Well, if we ignore Illmatic and look at their albums after 2003, Life Is Good and Especially HHID >
Jan 29, 2015 Wow he can rhyme lots of different syllables, the rhymes must be amazing! Tell me more about his meaningful messages and how he has inspired you..
Jan 29, 2015 At first i would be excited to see something like the AB-Soul outro with Jazz and Eminem rapping with a MMLP2 flow about society, but I don't think we would see something like that. If he is going to do it with a choppy flow I would be disappointed.
Jan 29, 2015 "Doctor's busy operating on a lady who's sedated he can barely concentrate cus he's newly separated. His estranged wife likes entertaining her acquaintance in the house they were married in." The one line in life is good is better than anything I've heard from em lately. Just cus it paints that picture so well n gives u that feeling the doctors feeling and plus it just plain sounds good. No formula required to tell me it doesnt have enough "multisyllabic" rhymes to be great.
Jan 29, 2015 But yeah, I'd vomit if i heard em on kendricks new s--- and it sounded like some s--- off rap god. Also Lmao at the thread title just blatantly trying to get some clicks. Hey it worked for me tho
